I am so stoked about this giveaway from BERG Toys! We got one to try out and were pretty impressed. It was very easy to put together and we could tell it was made of durable, quality parts. My six year old likes to take it down the dirt paths near our house. Their site says “The swing axle will keep all four wheels on the ground even over the most extreme trails.” Now I don’t really know what a swing axle is, but I know that the go-cart never even looked like it was going to tip over at any time and my daughter had no accidents on it going down the hills.
My four-year old daughter didn’t try the hills, but likes riding it on the sidewalk for walks with me and my husband. Every neighborhood kid we pass asks if they can take it for a ride, and of course we let them try it out. Most say they haven’t seen anything like it. My daughter likes the steering wheel of it the best; she likes to go a little crazy going back-and-forth like she’s driving a car. I noticed it is slower than riding a bike, which is great for me since when she’s on her bike I can’t keep up with her just walking along.
My favorite aspects of the BERG Toys Jeep Junior Pedal Go-Kart:
Frame is built to last – not made of plastic. Quality steel.
Knobby pneumatic tires – can go off-roading. We tested this, and it worked great on well-pact dirt roads and particularly going down hill on dirt paths. That was my daughter’s favorite part. It didn’t work in loose sand, but that is to be expected.
Can pedal forwards or backwards
Adjustable seat – my 4 year old needed it all the way at the front, the 6 year old wanted it to the back.
Riders 3-8 years old, and can be up to 150 lbs. Even though older kids will be in the weight limit, their legs might be to long for it. There are other pedal go-karts for the older kids.
Licensed by Jeep – my husband is a big Jeep fan.
You can lie it on its back, the back of the seat part, to take up less space in the garage.
They do make older-kids and adult size pedal go-karts as well.
Only Dis-Advantage:
Since it is made of real steel, it is a too heavy for most kids to push it up steeper slopes.

Who could use a flat iron?
Almost Everyone! It doesn’t matter what kind of hair you have flat irons work great! I have big frizzy hair – it works. My daughter has fine thin hair – it works. The best thing about a really good flat iron is that it can be used on ANY type of hair. If it’s good and has the right settings it works without “frying” your hair!
I was able to try the Barbar 2300 Titanium-Ionic Flat Iron! This has a 1 1/2″ Plate so it works on long OR short hair! It’s also a Wet to Dry Iron. This means even if your hair is wet or dry you can use it without burning it. The ionic ventilation holes seal in the moisture! These have titanium plates which help to heat up evenly and last longer! You can heat it up to 450 degrees – which is what I need! The nice part is it has a swivel cord which means it won’t get all tangled when you use it – yea! The 2300 has a digital temperature display:
All Hair Types Work with this Flat Iron!
I know that I have crazy hair and I love flat irons, but I wanted to show you someone with non curly hair that used the iron and tell you what she thought. Here are some pictures:
She has super thick hair and it did a fabulous job! Here are my friends thoughts after using it, “The hair straightener worked really well in my unruly hair. I have horse hair (really thick and kind of course) and it flattened it with ease. I was surprised at how fast it heated up. It got all the way up to 436 degrees in less than a minute. Other straighteners I have used have taken forever to heat all the way up. My hair wont straighten with any heat less than 400-420. My hair can take up to 45 minutes to completely get straight, with this flat iron it only took about 15. It did NOT fry my hair at all or leave it frizzy at all like some flat irons do. My hair was so smooth and soft when finished. I am completely happy with the results and think its an awesome product!”
