Important: The Biore Facial Care Products & John Frieda Hair Care Products rebate # is the same, but you can get up to 3 $5 rebates per household.
After I got home, I found another SC rebate: Purchase any John Freida shampoor or conditioner AND Frizz Ease and get $6.99. Since I got my John Freida shampoo I only need to get my Frizz Ease sometime this month and I get another $6.99 back!
I did 3 transactions to utilize more $5/25 and $3/15 coupons and save the most money.
Total Spent on all 3 transactions combined= $17.82. (click “continue reading” for receipt pics & more)
UPDATE: We have the 2 winners! I spent $46.03 and saved $47.12 with coupons and a $5 gift card I got for the Kellogg’s deal. Tune in every Saturday to guess again!
We’ve played before, do I need to explain the rules? I went to Target today and found some un-advertised deals (view here) so now guess what I spent and what I saved.
UPDATE: We’ve got both winners, Ann and Erin! I spent $57.17 and I saved $135.28. And I still have a $8 Walgreens register reward leftover for this week’s trip! Also note I saved $10 with coupons and free gift cards from facebook promos at Toys R Us, which I added to my saved total already but may have thrown off some of the guesses. My k-mart trip was free after the $10 rebate, plus well I actually made some $$$ on it. Anyways here the other receipts:

Walmart $15.18 (mostly for Baby Formula which I had no coupons for, boo!)
K-Mart Spent $6, getting a $10 K-mart gift card back! $4 moneymaker!
My maximum budget is $100 per week for our family of four.
This week I spent $108.86. I’m in the red! I will make up for it next week or my husband will take away my shopping privileges; he is serious this time!
This week I saved $179.16 = $62% savings
How did you do?

UPDATE: We have a winner for spent: comment #9, Barry guessed $52 and I spent $47.85.
We have a winner for saved: comment #13, Mrs. K, who guessed $117 and I saved $118.15.

I went to Macey’s today and did average:
Used $28.50 in-store and manufacturer’s coupons
+ most items I got were on sale 30-50% off even before in-store coupons, so if you add in those savings
= I saved much more than $28.50.
Spent $31.88 for 34 items ($0.93 per item) view a list of all the current Macey’s deals here (all deals I did are on this printable list)
I get emails from people really stressing if they can’t find a deal for something they want. I try to only buy items on sale, but I don’t have an extra freezer in my garage (most people in Utah do; I am a rarity). So I sometimes buy ice cream when it isn’t on sale, because I can’t stock up when it is on sale. I will be the first to admit I am not the perfect coupon shopper! See the picture above? I paid the full price of $3 for ice cream today. Hopefully that makes you feel better about your deals or lack thereof. Try not to sweat the small stuff! It can make you go cuckoo.
I could have drove 25 miles to Target to price match the Big Lots ad, thereby only paying $1 for my All 2x laundry detergents instead of $1.49 at Macey’s, but it wouldn’t be worth the gas money, time, or stress unless I needed something else at Target, and I don’t. So I didn’t. But I did get the “Coupon High”!
