I complained to Deal Pulp about how some of my readers didn’t get their free $5 credit for signing up.  They responded that they had a glitch in their system, but if you email them on Deal Pulps contact page, you will get your $5 credit!

If you haven’t signed up yet for Deal Pulp, I would now and be sure you get your $5 free credit, because they are saying that is a limited time offer.  They have had some great deals, such as yesterday if you had the credit you’d get a Target.com gift card for $10 for only $2.

As you see in a previous post I did, they once had an Amazon.com gift card for $5, but with your credit it was FREE. So make sure to get your credit before it’s gone in case they do that again!

Today’s plum deal I had to do because my husband spends so much on energy bars! The deal is $18 for $36 worth of energy bars, but you get $5 off if you signed up within 7 days to Plum District. This is a cool idea.  You get to pick all the ingredients in your energy bar:

After you select your ingredients, it tells you your nutrition stats:

Then you order 12 of the same bars for $2.99 each ($35.88 total).  Use your code to bring the price to free (you did pay $13 for the code though).

Shipping is $5.99 or add $14 more products to your order and get FREE shipping.

So you end up paying $18.99 shipped for 12 custom energy bars, or $1.50 per bar, which is pretty good when you consider how pricey those are at the store or gym! Plus you get to put your name on them:

I know $1.50 per bar shipped seems high, but my husband buys these all the time so I thought this was a good deal. What do you think? (more…)

I personally just tried out eBillme to see how this deal works. Right now they have a great deal which ends in two days -01/15/11.Get a $15 Mail-in Rebate on $100 Amazon.com Gift Cards purchased with eBillme.

I am buying a new camera on Amazon (I just returned my cybershot I got for Christmas, I liked it, but it only did 4 megapixels, I’m upgrading to the one that does 10) anyways, it would be great to save another $15 with the mail-in-rebate, so I decided to try it out.

So this is how it worked –

  1. I selected that I wanted my Amazon gift card.
  2. eBill me said I needed to pay the bill through my bank account online or go into my bank
  3. I logged online to my bank account
  4. I went to my account and clicked on “pay bills”,
  5. then clicked “add new payee”
  6. then just filled in the info that eBillme gave me to add a new payee
  7. then I submitted a $25 payment to the new payee
  8. I was told my Amazon gift card would be emailed to me as soon as payment went through, my bank said 1 day.
  9. I downloaded the $15 form here.  I will get my $15 rebate via mail. There is a limit of one (1) rebate per person, household or address.

Overall, I think it takes a little longer to order through eBillme, BUT it is much safer.  You never enter your credit card information anywhere, so if you are someone who is worried about that then this is great for you.  Also, if you wanted a deal on Amazon, and wanted to save $15, this would be great if you knew the price was going to be the same in 24 hours since you don’t get your $100 gift certificate immediately.

Ask CCD Readers: have you ever used eBillme?
