This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. All opinions are 100% mine.

Head on over toBoudreaux’s Butt Paste site to get a free sample of their infamous butt paste! What is butt paste, you ask? Well it is just like Destin or any other cream to use on babies bums to heal diaper rash and soothe irritated skin, but better.

I used to think Destin was the best, and gawked at the $5 price tag at Walmart of Boudreaux’s Butt Paste. But after giving it a try, I can see why it is priced a little higher. My daughter who usually screams when she has a rash and is getting cream on it, didn’t seem to mind at all getting the butt paste. Plus, it cleared up her rash quickly, since when I went to change her diaper the next time her rash was gone. My children don’t get rashes too often, so I have actually only used the butt paste cream a few times, but have been extremely impressed each time.

I’ve also read great reviews all over the net, so I think that my experience seems to be the norm.

Here’s some info from Boudreaux’s Butt Paste: It was specifically formulated by a pharmacist with direction from a respected pediatrician to provide effective diaper rash care and is Pediatrician recommended.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Kissimmee Tourism. All opinions are 100% mine.

My in-laws live in Orlando, FL so we visit Florida often- in fact we lived there for a year. Kissimmee is South of Orlando, very close to Disney World. Growing up, my family always choose Kissimmee to stay at because it had all the tourist shops and flee markets, plus was so close to all the attractions.

Kissimmee is also close to Gatorland. As you can see in the picture above, we took my daughter there when she was about 18 months old. Don’t worry-that is a fake gator! We loved Gatorland because you got to see hundreds (literally!) of real gators, and watch gator wrestling which I had never seen before.

If I were to go back today, and have an endless budget, I would stay at the Gaylord Palms Resort and Convention Center. But in reality, I would never have an endless budget, so I would be browsing deals on travel sites for weeks finding a hotel with both a swimming pool and continental breakfast for the lowest rates.

I would start my trip on the first day with a light activity, to re-coop after what I’m sure would be a long plane ride with two toddlers. I have been airboating in the wetlands of Florida before and this was very fun. It was also very affordable. Usually you can find a guide to take you. This would be a great relaxing activity for the first day.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Mission Foods. All opinions are 100% mine.

My family loves burrito night. We eat burritos every Wednesday night. We are very blessed to have a grandfather who raises cattle, so our meat is free. So we just have to buy tortillas, cheese, beans, salsa, and olives. Mission tortillas often have coupons and you can get a great deal on them, so the meal is very cheap. Plus they are fresh-baked so they often have better flavor then other tortillas.

Here is our burrito recipe using mission flour tortillas:
1 pound ground beef – cook it first. Add taco seasoning if desired.
Then in a separate frying pan put some vegetable oil (1 tablespoon is enough) in the bottom and get it very hot. Throw on mission tortillas on each side for about 15 seconds. Once they are fried, coat them in Parmesan cheese. The kind that is in shakers. It adds a great flavor to the tortillas. Then fill the tortillas with the ground beef, beans, cheese, olives and put salsa on top. We love this simple recipe!

Right now you can submit your favorite recipe using mission flour tortillas to the Mission Menus Challenge! The grand prize winner gets to compete in a cook-off in Los Angeles and win a $10,000 dream kitchen makeover, plus there are weekly prizes. The grand prize winner will win round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations for two to the Mission Menus Challenge Cook-off on September 10, 2010 at the Hard Rock Café in Los Angeles.

Until August 9th, you have the chance to submit your recipe online. All recipes:
• Must include Mission Flour Tortillas
• Be original
• Feed a family of five for $10 or less

If you watched Jon & Kate you saw the cute Crooked Houses.  Well now you can get Crooked House Wall Slims Stickers.  I was given a chance to review the Two-Color Removable Wall Stickers.

They have 3 themes you can order online, Pirates, Ahoy!, Fairyland, and Crooked Forest.   First you select your theme. Then you select the two colors you want used on your stickers.  I choose green with pink accents, since green is the main accent color in my daughters bedroom and pink is secondary.  Then they ship  them to you.

I got mine and put it right next to the floor board so it would look like it was galloping on the ground.  But my one year old took it off.  They are quite easy to remove, and don’t strip the paint at all!  Anyways, I decided to move the horse up high so the kids couldn’t pull it off.  Putting it back on was also easy, and it stuck just fine.

I think these are very cute and a great way to decorate a child’s bedroom or playroom.  If you have young kids though, I would recommend putting them higher where the kids won’t take them off.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of PBM Products. All opinions are 100% mine.

I just read a great article 10 Products to Always Buy Generic and I wanted to let you guys know how I feel about it.

They have a savings calculator to show how much you can save by buying generic vs. store brand. This is, of course, if you aren’t using coupons on the store brand items. Even the best couponers have those days when you need something and don’t have a coupon for it.

One of the best ways to save money, #1 on their list, was Generic Medications. Did you know they are required to have the same exact active ingredients in them? I didn’t know that. Well if that is the case, I say go generic on those!

The last on their list was Baby Formula. I know I have registered for Parent’s Choice, a Walmart store-brand formula before, and received coupons in the mail. With their low prices plus coupons, I was surprised this was last on their list. Unless I can get name-brand formula cheaper then store brand formula, I always buy store brand baby formula. I had no idea that the Infant Formula Act requires specific procedures be followed in making infant formulas; so you can rest assured generic or store brand formula are as good as the pricey ones that claim to be better for your baby. In fact, if you set the formulas side-by-side and compare ingredients, they are nearly identical.

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Charter. All opinions are 100% mine.

Ondemand-1

I don’t have DVR, which is ok because I love On Demand!  I don’t have to hurry home and rearrange my schedule to catch my favorite TV shows. More of the TV networks are placing their top shows On Demand the next day after they air. These include some of my favorites like NBC’s America’s Got Talent and ABC’s Castle.

As I am watching these shows, I can fast forward through the commercials.  And rewind to see parts of shows that I missed when my kids were being noisy!

If you do have DVR or TIVO (lucky ducks!), you still have to setup your system to record shows.  What if you forget to record one – or heard about a new show the next day at work?   You can still go home and flip on On Demand and view the shows you had not recorded.

Visit theOn Demand home page to see if you can get their service- they are part of Charter TV in Digital. t

This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of Glidden. All opinions are 100% mine.

Glidden

Who wants to buy a pint of paint to test it out- only to decide it is not the right color?

Next time you are in Home Depot look for Glidden’s inexpensive paint testers – enough to try the color, plus they come with a brush inside.  Much cheaper then a pint of paint too!

The Glidden paint testers are also great for households with children because they can be used to quickly touch up scrapes and stains.   My kids are always knocking pictures off the walls, which leaves scratch marks down the wall.  We just touch it up with a bit of paint and you wouldn’t know the difference!
