Now as you can see in my pantry picture above, I am a cereal fiend and I eat a box a week by myself. Just ask my husband. General Mills provided me with a free cereal coupon through My Blog Spark, and I wanted to taste-test it, to see if taste was affected by the reduced sugar content. If you haven’t heard, GM has committed to single digit grams of sugar per serving in kids cereals. I was game to taste test.
I got one box of Lucky Charms; I was in the mood for a classic. Loved it. Reduced sugar? I couldn’t tell; in fact, my 2 1/2 year old daughter even ate the brown pieces instead of just the marsh mellows!
Now General Mills, through My Blog Spark, has also provided me with 3 more coupons for free cereal, each coupon is good for up to $6 on any General Mills cereal; so you can get the BIG boxes! I am giving these away to 3 lucky readers and will mail them off to the 3 winners.
