UPDATE: GIVEAWAY HAD ENDED, Entry #4 won.
“Mommy I’m dancin’”
“Watch me pir-et mom!”
My little girl loves watching this DVD and is so cute dancing right along with it!
Prima Princessa jots from of a real performance of the Swan Lake ballet to a cute cartoon ballet dancer “Prima Princessa” who introduces ballet moves performed by little girls.
It’s hard to describe it since it isn’t like any other children’s DVD I have ever seen, but my 2 1/2 year old dances right along with it and keeps wanting to watch it over and over again. Go here to PrimaPrincessa.com to watch the trailer to see a little bit.

We had my nieces ages 5 and 7 watch it, and the 5 year old was interested but the 7 year old was not. I recommend this DVD for younger girls ages 2-5 who love dancing. My daughter (pictured above) takes ballet so that may have been why she loves this video so much she watches it twice in a row (it is about 45 minutes long).
Cuckoo rating: 4.5 out of 5 (the price is cuckoo too – only $6.99 on Amazon.com with free shipping!)

Getting my 3 year old to move watching a DVD would have to be when she watches the Wiggles….and she makes me get up too! “Mama Dance”
I chase them – just kidding. I do play with them outside, whether it is playing “Your it” or just shooting baskets. They like it when parents just spend time with them and I like that I’m losing calories too.
We have a circular floorplan, so my girls run, run, and run some more around that. We also stay active by visiting a local playplace that has a few slides and a bunch of climbing things. We visit resturants play areas as well as local museums and storytimes. When the weather is nice..we visit the parks often.

I have three little ones ages 2, 3 and 4 and my favorite way to get them active (and me too) is our daily “Silly Dance” time. We put on favorite songs and start dancing around…it is a time to be silly while moving around and having lots of fun. The kids look forward to it every day.
I am a new Facebook fan and am glad that I found your blog!
