I decided to participate in the Holiday Home Organization Blogger Challenge from Apartment Guide this year!    I love decor.  If you saw my Halloween pictures, you know I love decorations.  But I go a little bit more crazy for Christmas!

My main tip is to remove excess furniture and lamps, and any items you don’t have to have around.  This will make the house look much less cluttered once you add in the tree and other decorations.  This year,  we are moving all our indoor-plants to our master bedroom. This will really de-clutter the living room and give more room for Christmas decorations!

Normally we have pictures, DVD’s, and books on top of our T.V.  We are taking all of them off and putting the Nativity up there.  Plus, it’s too high for the Children to reach and break it.  I have a little kids nativity down lower for them to play with!  This is how the top of our T.V. normally looks (ya dusty and all):

So I am taking this opportunity to dust-up and clean off the top of the T.V., and get it ready for a beautiful nativity display.   I’ll update you with pics of my decorations once they are up.

I had the hardest time figuring out how to pick 3 readers to win what they need for Christmas.  I decided I hate to be the person to choose – so I am leaving that up to you.

Well my little girls aren’t even sure what Vampires are, but the one they got they have been playing with and feeding the blood non-stop.
