I have a three year old and she trained easy during the day time, over a year ago, but has never gotten nights figured out. I think she sleeps right through going! So when Potty Patrol asked if I’d like to review their product and host a giveaway, I was excited of course. I slept by her in our guest bed so when the alarm went off, I could wake her (she is a deep sleeper) and then I’d get her up and take her potty. It seems to be going good so far, we’ve been testing them out for a few days and really like them.
Here’s how they work:
- You attach the alarm to the diapers with snaps that are built into the diapers and the alarm.
- As soon as the diapers start getting wet, the alarm sounds with “twinkle twinkle little star”
- You let your child know that when that feeling happens, you run to the potty. So instead of running your kid to the potty at random times, now you know exactly when they are going so you can teach them when they need to go they should be going to the bathroom.
- The alarm is re-usable; you throw the diapers away though.
