So, Im dumb.  I LOVE Origins so I wanted to get the free full size cleanser, but I don’t feel good today so I didn’t want to leave the house.  BUT Origins is also offering a free cleanser if you make a purchase of $30 online (which is easy for me to do) So I get it online and totally FORGET about Shop At Home offering 8% cash back!!  I haven’t installed their toolbar yet to remind me!  Anyway, now I have the toolbar and hopefully that won’t happen again.  sheesh…

I don’t usually make my own bread, but I don’t like to pay a lot of money for it, either. One of my favorite stores to go to is the bread store. If you’ve never been to one, you are missing out! Their prices are significantly cheaper than at the grocery store, and I LOVE the clearance shelf – items that are about to hit their stale date and must sell! I usually visit the bread store once every 4-6 weeks and buy 6 loaves of bread at a time (they freeze well). On a recent shopping trip, I decided to price compare and this is what I found:

Hostess/Wonder Bread Store (400 S. 700 E.)
English muffins – 2 for $2
Box of Mini Donuts – 2 for $3.89
Bagels – 2 for $3.89
Hamburger and Hotdog buns – 2 for $2.04
Sourdough bread – $1.89
Standish Farms Wheat Bread – 3 for $4.79
Natural Pride bread – $1.89
Grandma Emilie bread – 3 for $5.00
Homepride bread – 4 for $5.52
Clearance snack cakes – .25

English muffins – on sale 2 for $3.00, normally $2.99
Twinkies – $3.99 Bagels – on sale 2 for $4.00
Hamburger and Hotdog buns – $2.79
Grandma Emilie bread – 2 for $4.00
Home Pride bread – $3.29
Snack cakes (donettes) – $1.39

Fresh Market
Home Pride bread – $3.29
Hamburger/Hotdog Buns – $1.89
Nature’s Pride bread – $3.49
Bagels – $3.79
Orowheat bread – $4.15
Earthgrains bread – $3.00
Twinkies – $3.99
Donuts – $3.99
Donettes (6 count) – $.99

Home Pride Bread – $3.29
Hamburger/Hotdog Buns – $2.89
Nature’s Pride bread – $4.29
Bagels – $3.79
Orowheat English Muffins – $3.49
Grandma Emilie bread – $2.99
Wonder bread – $3.09

Purchase any 5 specially-marked packages of Sara Lee® Soft & Smooth® bakery products between now and August 1st, 2010 and send in their UPC’s for a free lunch box. Usually with these deals you have to pay shipping, luckily it is free with this one!

Today I happened to notice that Sara Lee Soft & Smooth bagels were on sale at Macey’s with $1/1 coupons stuck to them.  Don’t remember the price as I don’t like bagels and didn’t need them.

Go here for the order form.  If you only collect 3 UPC’s, you can still get Toy Story 3 plates.

Thanks, Rose Knows Coupons

Save $1 now when you buy Expo Washable™ markers. Let me know where these are the cheapest, first guess without a sale is usually Walmart.

Everything is $1 at Dollar Tree.  $1 for Wii accessories is pretty good deal.   Dollar Tree in Spanish Fork also pretty long plastic baseball bats with a ball for a dollar, and some other great kids toys for $1.  I was there getting stuff for my daughter’s 3 year old birthday party next week and found so many great deals.

They have a whole row of Luau party accessories so I am doing a Luau theme for her party. Only $12 for all her Lei’s for all her friends, balloons, tons of banners and decorations, and matching Luau plates.   They were sold out of $1 hula hoops, so I’ll be back next week for those.  But overall, it should be a cheap fun party!

Both at Macey’s: Pompeian 100% Olive Oil 32 Oz is marked down to $7.99, reg. $13.99.   On the 17 oz. bottles of Pompeian Olive Oil there are coupons for $1/1 ANY Pompeian Olive Oil.  Take those coupons and use them on the already 50% off 32 oz. Olive Oil to get $6.99 for 32 oz.  Pretty great deal!  I got two, but now am wondering if I should have got 3.   I haven’t run across many great deals on 100% Olive Oil before, and my husband loves to cook with it. What do you guys think?

I use much cheaper vegetable oil for baking, but olive oil for stove-top cooking and salads. My husband loves it.

It expires 5/29/10.  Go here for more info and restrictions.  Here for a list of concerts.

Oh and enough people have bought it already, so the deal is on!  (They get such low prices because they purchase in bulk.)
