This is a very cheap meal to make.  Until Dec. 8, Buy Low Market in Provo, UT has boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.19 lb, which is a CUCKOO deal.  I have bought 40 lbs from them and frozen it in freezer bags.  I will defrost some for this meal.

Stuffing was $.78 at Walmart all last month, I think we should all be stocked up on it.

In August there were tons of deals on canned tomatoes. I got mine at Macey’s.

Macey’s had Kraft shredded cheese for $.98, and I had $.50 off coupons.  Shredded cheese can be frozen and un-thawed in the refrigerator, so I bought 15 bags.  I take out one bag from my freezer a week to un-thaw and use for the next week. Note: Chunk cheese, or regular cheese  that is not pre-shredded does not un-thaw well and I would not freeze it!

So as I stock up on food, I am going to share recipes I make with the food from my storage.

Bruschetta Chicken Bake:

  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles inside
  • 1 pkg. Stove Top stuffing mix
  • 1/2 c water
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 c. mozzarella cheese
  1. Preheat the oven to 400
  2. Place the tomatoes, stuffing mix, water & salt & peper in a bowl & mix
  3. Place chicken in 13×9 in. baking dish, sprinkle with cheese. Top with stuffing mixture.
  4. Bake for 45 min uncovered.  Put more cheese on top for last 5 minutes

I am an avid skier and snowboarder, so if this is your first year, trust me you can’t buy discounted tickets once you get to the resort. The best way to save is by buying your tickets early online. Right now is offering Snowbird, UT tickets for $33, these are normally $72! These are good until Dec. 24th. To find the best deals, be flexible on your search dates as each date has a different deal!

The best deals I found on are:

  • $54.99 for the Canyons in Park City, UT (30% off)
  • $39.99 for Brighton, UT (31% off)
  • $49.99 for Sun Valley, ID (only 11% off, but I love to ski here!)
  • $60.00 for one day ticket plus $15 towards lunch, at Keystone, CO (33% off)

There are some resorts offering as much as 70% off, but not for resorts I ski at or recommend.

I was near Walgreens anyways because I had to go to the D.I. and return some items, a long story in itself, so I stopped by Walgreens to get the free Fusion Power razor and free Toblerone candy bars.

I was pleasantly surprised that they had so many December coupon savings booklets available. I hate going for a deal and not getting it because those are gone.

Toblerone bars 2/$3
Use two $1/1 coupon from 11/22 SS insert (regional)
Use $1/2 coupon from December Coupon booklet (usually found at the front of the store by the circulars)
FREE after coupons!

Gillette Fusion Razor $8.99
Buy 1, Earn a $4 Register Reward
Use the $4/1 from PG 11/29
Final Price: $4.99, $0.99 after Register Rewards catalina coupon that printed immediately

I wanted the Ectorin deal, but they were sold out.

Anyways, because I had to use 2 coupons from the December coupon savings booklet for $1 off 2, and 4 $1 off manufacturer’s coupons to get the Toberone deal, I needed 2 filler items, since I had more coupons than products. I found .50 christmas puzzles that will make great Christmas gifts.

Then for my razor I used a $4 off manufacturer’s coupon plus I wanted a $4 register reward, so I needed another filler for that and got baby food. I also used a $4 off register reward coupon (from all the hot deals on Black Friday!) so since this is considered a coupon I had to have another filler item for it as well, and used more baby foods.  Now normally I would advocate finding something cheaper as a filler, but I really needed baby food and need is more important than some cheap item you won’t ever use. I actually ended up getting more filler items than I needed, so I could have not bought the 2 puzzles and still been okay

So then after I purchased this all, I used the $4 register reward catalina that printed (from the Gilette Fuzion Razor) offer and a $5 check from Enfamil (they mail these to you if you sign up on their website), so I paid $5.20 cash for my baby’s Enfamil formula.

Spend $15 and Get a Free Smokey Eye Kit

I’m sure most of you have heard of e.l.f. cosmetics by now. If not, though, they sell very inexpensive cosmetics products–that perform like MAC makeup–with most of their items priced around $1-$3! The best part– they often have promotional codes that you can use on top of their bargain prices!Currently, for Cyber Monday (one day ONLY), you can score 70% off all e.l.f. Mineral products by using coupon code CM70MIN at checkout, and then enter code GTLSEYE if your order is over $15 to get a free smokey eye kit!
On top of that, you can also score a FREE subscription to Vogue magazine ($12 value) if you spend $25 or more! If you don’t want the magazine, you can instead choose a $12 rebate.
Deal Scenario:
  • Go here and clicked on the Mineral tab category
  • Order 25 $3 Mineral products
  • My total before the promo code was $75
  • I entered the promo code( CM70MIN ) and it deducted $49.99
  • I entered the promo code ( GTLSEYE ) for my free smokey eye kit
  • Bringing my final cost down to $25.01 + $6.95 shipping=$31.96
  • Below the coupon code box is a “Special Customer Benefit” section which offers the free subscription to Vogue. If you instead want the $12 rebate, then check the box that you do NOT want the magazine and click on “Get details about rebate instructions”. This just explains that you will need to send a copy of your order confirmation within 30 days of placing your order to ValueMags-ELF Program, 40 East Chicago Ave., # 429, Chicago, IL 60611 and you will receive a rebate of $12!

Your final cost for all 25 cosmetics mineral items (valued at $75) will ONLY end up being $19.69! That equals out to just $0.79 per item!!!! These would make great stocking stuffers items and would also be great additions to gift baskets!

Other great e.l.f. deal going on now:
