UPDATE: No one guessed within $5, so here’s what I spent & saved:

spent: $83.80 (should have been $4 less but I miscalculated one of my buy 8 get $4 off and only bought 7!)
saved: $173.51

I went to Smiths and Rite Aid this morning.  Lookout for Spring Savings coupon booklets at Smith’s  – they had coupons for $1/1 Wheaties Fuel and $1/1 Chocolate Cheerios!

Whoever first guesses what I spent OOP (within $5) wins a coupon for free Orr-Wich Sandwich Thins + random coupons I send with it.

Whoever first guesses what I saved (within $5) wins a coupon for free Heluva Good Cheese or Dip+ random coupons I send with it.

I just wanted to let everyone know that at Rite Aid Huggies Mega Packs are still buy 1 get 1 half off, until tonight anyways, so with 2 $3/1 Huggies coupons from here, you get a great deal!  Also in your calculations keep in mind that I got I paid OOP $10 for a prescription, then got a $25 gift card which I used for the sweet Huggies deal and a few other things shown.

P.S. My husband is picky with his steaks and — groan— I had to pay full price.  Grilling season kills me; he won’t eat frozen meat either!  But without him this shopping trip wouldn’t have been possible – he watched our daughter the whole time so that I could concentrate. Not taking kids shopping is worth paying a little extra in steak it saves me so much headache!

If there are no winners by Monday morning I’ll just tell ya and hold on to the coupons for next time.

Limit one guess for saved and one for spent per person please.

I got an email from Eric at Rite Aid saying they have an unadvertised sale going Thursday, Friday and Saturday only, February 18-20; Rite Aid is offering 20% off all over the counter medications. Stack this sale with coupons for some great deals, particularly if you need medicine that normally doesn’t go on sale..

Thanks, Eric!

UPDATE: We’ve got both winners, Ann and Erin! I spent $57.17 and I saved $135.28. And I still have a $8 Walgreens register reward leftover for this week’s trip! Also note I saved $10 with coupons and free gift cards from facebook promos at Toys R Us, which I added to my saved total already but may have thrown off some of the guesses. My k-mart trip was free after the $10 rebate, plus well I actually made some $$$ on it.  Anyways here the other receipts:

Walmart $15.18 (mostly for Baby Formula which I had no coupons for, boo!)

K-Mart Spent $6, getting a $10 K-mart gift card back! $4 moneymaker!

Walgreens Sorry the Walgreens receipt pictures which are SO fuzzy.

Rite Aid: spent $6.35 and I am getting SCR’s back totaling $11.99

The above items were everything I purchased this weekMy weekly budget of $100 includes everything I buy from groceries, prescriptions, to gifts I buy for my kids birthdays. Keep in mind after going over last week, I compensated for it this week!  Also, if you are new to my site, I stock up on what is on sale, so the reason not much “food” was purchased this week is there weren’t any great sales I needed to get. See here.

Please include in your guess the following which I didn’t get a picture of:
1 gallon milk, 1/2 gallon chocolate milk, 1 dozen medium eggs, 12 ounce frozen strawberries, & $15 which I spent at Toys R Us on my daughter’s 1st birthday present.

Please leave a comment to win one of 2 prizes:
guess how much I saved (rebate savings & coupon savings combined)
& guess how much I spent after rebates and my $13 in Rite Aid gift cards/gift of savings I used

The first person to guess within $5 how much I saved will get 3 coupons for free 6oz pouches of Purina dog or cat food, plus other dog & cat food coupons, $60 total value, etc… mailed to them from me.

The first person to guess within $5 how much I spent will get a3 coupons for free Marcal Small Steps single roll bath tissue, plus 10 other random household cleaner & pharmacy coupons, $50 total value, mailed to them from me.

If you guess them both first, you get both prizes!

I will post my receipt to verify One of my winners from last week emailed me to say she got her coupons, and thought the event was so fun that she decided to hold one on her site as well, here.

There’s a new coupon on for $5 off any $25 purchase at Rite Aid.  It shows a picture of Rite Aid Pharmacy, but it is not a pharmacy coupon. Mine says it doesn’t expire until 3/31/2010. This is great for if you are too busy to watch Rite Aid Video Values to get the $5/$20 coupon, or if you were going to spend over $25 anyways!

Other coupon I like:

FREE $10 Game Play with purchase of $10 Game Play at Dave & Busters
Save $1.50/2 Kellogg’s Cereal

$1 off Huggies Rite Aid video values coupon and a
$5/20 Rite Aid video values coupon for some CHEAP diapers!
=$8 off 1 box of Huggies at Rite Aid!

I’ll be looking for a Huggies sale to match this with if you don’t need diapers now and can wait!

Huggies Pure & Natural:
$3 Off 40-ct. or larger Huggies Pure & Natural Coupon (Target Coupon)
$2.50 Off Huggies Pure & Natural Coupon (Manufacturer Coupon)
=$5.50 off per pack at Target!
