Pampers

I add new codes to this list weekly.

Pampers Gifts To Grow is a program where you enter codes found inside packs of diapers, training pants, and wipes and save the points up until you get cool prizes – like free diapers and wipes.  Those codes are one-time use.  But Pampers also releases codes that everyone can use, and I keep a list of those here.

Sign up for Pampers Gifts to Grow if you aren’t a member yet.

List of old pampers gifts to grow codes, let me know which ones have expired: I have removed all the expired codes thanks to Renae & Dana!

Children all around the world make wishes about what they want to dream about in “Shushybye land” and the Shushies make the dreams come true.  Its kind of a clever concept – telling kids they get to make wishes about what to dream about to get them excited about going to sleep.

The CD has the characters voices reading the story. My daughter loves to have this story read to her right before she goes to bed, and then feels real special if I leave the CD in and it plays the “Oh my my, Shushybye” song while she goes to sleep.  The cartoons are really cute which really is her favorite part of any book (she’s not quite 3 yet). I saw one Shushybye show on YouTube and I like the book a lot better; it seems more well done and has a better storyline.

I also reviewed a separate CD “Close Your Eyes” and my daughter liked it; another one to listen to as she goes to sleep. If you like the Shushybye’s, you’ll be interested to know the characters band is going on tour and you can view tour dates on Shushybye.com.

UPDATE: Giveaway has ended. Random.org picked #10, Ann “I am a fan on facebook.”

This Children’s DVD uses puppets to explain: the overall concept of the Bible, from who wrote it, why, how it all came together in one piece. Then it uses cartoons to explain: the individual stories in the bible.

I liked the cartoon parts of the DVD better then the puppets part. I think What’s In The Bible is more for children at least 5 years old. It moves too quickly and is too packed with information for any younger child.

There were 2 specific statements made that I disagreed with; you can email me if you want to know specifics.  I did think it did a good job of explaining about the creation when Moses wrote “Day” it could have meant God’s day, which could be thousands or millions of years in Earth days.  It also explained selfishness very well.

You can learn more at Whatsinthebible.com.

UPDATE: This giveaway ended, entry #37 won.

I reviewed a copy of Danny the Dragon, written by Tina Turbin and Illustrated by Aija Jasuna, and an accompanying CD which reads the book out loud then plays 10 original composition classical songs.

Me and my daughter follow the cd along with the book before bedtime. My daughter likes to listen to the CD and turn the pages at the chime. Then when its over I tuck her in and turn the volume on low and she goes to sleep with the music going.  She thinks its really special.

The book is about a regular family who comes across Danny the Dragon and his sidekick Skipper.  I won’t spoil the surprise on how Danny meets Jimmy and his family,  but your children will love “where he sleeps” and learn from Danny as Danny is an easy-going, gracious dragon with great manners.  The illustrations are very colorful and my daughter loved them.

About the author: Tina Turbin is donating all proceeds from the Danny the Dragon CD to the Celiac Disease Center at Columbia University. She is a strong supporter of families, kids and education and runs the website Gluten Free Help which lists recipes that are gluten-free for people with celiac disease.

This giveaway has ended. A third party site, Random.org, has selected the winner.

The winner is: Entry #9, Bonnie P, who said “I have never tried it before”

I can’t stress enough that this is a different kind of lotion. It feels different when you put it on, silky is the best word I can think for it. It isn’t thick and sticky like some other lotions, and it dries very quickly when you put it on.

I like how it is for the whole body, including the face, and how it is safe for children because it is hypo-allergenic. This way it is in all-in-one purchase. I used it on my face and it didn’t cause any breakouts. I am very careful with what I put on my face. Many of you may have noticed I don’t wear any foundation or powder on my face because I feel like they make my face breakout. I was glad the lotion didn’t cause me any problems on my face!

It is great for moderately dry skin; I don’t know about severely dry hands though because Andrea (my friend with severely dry hands) felt like she needed the lotion re-applied to the severely dry areas quite often.

SkinMD is offering one lucky Cuckoo For Coupon Deals reader a free bottle of lotion (retail value $18). For the entire month of February our readers can also use coupon promo code “cfc4805” for 20% off online purchases here.

If you are looking in-stores, this product is sold at Health Essentials Nutrition in Spanish Fork, at various Walgreen’s and Kmart locations, and at many other pharmacies nationwide.
