The cookware set above is the one my mother gave me for my wedding gift. My cooking teacher at BYU once told me “if you love your husband, you will invest in the best cookware; because it determines the quality of food you make.” Well, I don’t know how much it has helped me because I’m not the best cook, but I know I LOVE my le creuset cookware set. Not only does it cook evenly, but nothing sticks to it and it is gorgeous looking. The pans are quite heavy as they are made from cast iron, but I have never had my pans bend in extreme heat and I love how they have held up. We’ve only been married 4 1/2 years, but I bet I will use this set the rest of my married life. I really have that much confidence in it.
Now I am not saying go buy a new cookware set. But it was a great wedding present and I just wanted to let you know it was worth more to me than fine China (which we didn’t get any of anyway) because it will last and we use it everyday.
