In the video I show my long-term food storage in #10 cans. It goes 3 rows back and most cans last between 10 -30 years, so I don’t have to rotate it too often. I have been working on it for 3 years. The best time to get #10 can food cheap is at Macey’s sale every 3-4 months.
I also have some 45 gallon buckets of wheat I couldn’t show in the video because I shot it with my cell phone and it will only let me do 2 minutes. I know the quality isn’t as good as my other camera, but I can upload the video straight to Facebook and not have to go through the hassle of changing formats like on my regular video camera – it used to take me 2 hours to change formats to get videos up on YouTube! So until I get a flip camera, this is what I’m using.

DownEast Basics has the cutest modest clothes! Completely affordable as well. I got the shirt shown above, and LOVE how light the fabric is! Lovin’ it for these hot Utah summers! Their tops run around $20, much better then other designer clothes stores.
But my favorite thing about DownEast clothes is: their clothes are quite classy looking, so they stay in style a long time. I don’t buy clothes often, so when I do I want them to be stay in style.
If you go to order clothes on their online store, keep in mind that their sizes seem to run big. I usually wear a medium top, but on Down East clothes I always wear a small, or sometimes even an extra small! Makes me feel good

Soda Stream makes home-made soda pop in re-useable containers so you don’t have to buy soda anymore.
Soda Stream gave me a soda stream and some flavors to try out. Normally you put a lid on the liter and shake it gently before you drink it. In the video I don’t put the lid on because I couldn’t find it; my husband thought me looking around for it was funny so we shouldn’t do a re-do.

Hey! Wednesday’s almost over and you thought I forgot to post a new giveaway, huh? Well, I have just been having issues. I finally go at a new cell phone, yeah!
Triple yeah! I went two weeks without one, since we don’t have a house phone it was no fun. Needless to say the kids won’t be playing with my new phone
It records videos. So I recorded this video showing the coupon insert stash I’m giving away, but it recorded sideways for some reason… and I couldn’t get it to upload to YouTube. Will have to have the husband look at it later! Well for now, just know I am working on it.

What would you do with $100 to spend at A Candy Store?
Probably the same thing I did when they let me choose candy to review – browse their site for hours and keep finding more things you want to try.
A Candy Store sells any new, classic or retro candy you can dream of. If you are thinking of it, right now in your head, they probably sell it.
A Candy Store has lots of classic candy, such as every flavor imaginable of Salt Water Taffy, but they also have fun novelty candy as well. I was trying to think of something creative for my review, and well…
Check out the video below to see how I used some paint shop lollipops at my mom’s paint store in Rexburg. It’s not a very exciting video, but thinking of something original to do with candy was much harder then I anticipated. A child sneaking in candy is always cute to me though. And yes, I know I’m cheesy.

When I first saw these adorable felt playhouses, I thought genius:
- They fit right over card tables
- They can be easily taken down (perfect if you don’t have extra space in your house)
- They can be indoors (perfect for the 7 months it is cold outside in Utah!) or outdoors during good weather
- You can attach more toys to the outside for kids to move and play around with
I was given a copy of the 48 page pattern ebook. It included the information on everything you would need to buy, how much to buy, and detailed pictures of how to do every step, including Heat N Bond (which I hadn’t even heard of, so I was glad there were step-by-step pictures).
