Did you see my sweet Walgreen’s Scenarios for under $5 list? It’s a great new weekly feature.  I’d love to have Rite Aid Scenarios for under $5, and CVS Scenarios for under $5 as well.  I already am working around 40 hours a week on my blog, and don’t know if I can take on another task. So I was wondering if any of you would want to help?

  • You must be a regular couponer who knows how to create scenerios and actually shops at those stores
  • You must follow all store coupon rules in the scenarios
  • You must be willing to do this once per week, excluding Holidays of course.
  • You must be willing to get these done on Saturdays.
  • You must use the Cuckoo for Coupon Deals Coupon Database format to list the coupons in the scenario.

I think this will take you about 1 -2 hours per week, per store.  I could have one person per store, or one person do both if they wanted.

You’d be paid weekly via paypal.  Interested? Just email  🙂

I am so excited about this new feature! Saving Towards a Better Life is sending over some Walgreen’s transactions for under $5 for us each week.  Now what I would do in this case is keep the remaining $5 RR you get at the end of the transaction for next week’s list, so you can pay almost nothing out of pocket for next week!

Prices do not include tax and Transaction #1 assumes you have the (3) $1 RR left from last week’s transactions. *Cuckoo readers, sorry this is the first week of me being sent these deals so we missed out on last week’s, but hopefully you have some RR’s laying around!  I plan on posting these every week from now on so we can get in the groove!

Walgreen’s Scenarios:

Transaction #1
2 Pocket Folder with prongs x 3, $.39 (your filler items)
Hyland’s Teething Gel .5oz, $5.00
G-U-M Dental Care 2 pack micro or super tip toothbrushes or Floss 200 yds, $2.00
Clorox Clean up with Bleach 32oz, $2.79
Use the $1/1 Hyland’s Teething Gel, Earache Drops, or Allergy Relief printable
Use the $1/1 Clorox Clean-Up Spray printable (on Facebook) or $1/1 Clorox Clean-Up printable
Pay: use (3) $1RR from last week
Final Price=$5.18 OOP and a $5, $2 and $1 RR back

Transaction #2

2 Pocket Folder with prongs x 3 = $.39 (your filler item)
Hyland’s Teething Gel .5oz – $5.00
Use the $1/1 Hyland’s Teething Gel, Earache Drops, or Allergy Relief printable
Pay: use $2 and $1 RR from previous to pay – DO NOT use $5!
Final Price=$1.39 OOP and another $5 RR (you’ll have $10 RR now)

Transaction #3

W Women’s 6 Blade Razor System – $3.99
Air Wick Freshmatic or Double Fresh Scented Oil or Neutra Air Freshmatic – $7.99
Clorox Clean up with Bleach 32oz – $2.79
2 Pocket Folder with prongs x2 -$.26 (your filler items)
Use the $1/1 Clorox Clean-Up Spray printable (on Facebook) or $1/1 Clorox Clean-Up printablep
and use one of the following coupons:
$4/1 Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra Starter Kit printable
$4/1 Air Wick Freshmatic Ultra Odor Detect Starter Kit, exp. 7/24/11 (SS 06/12/11)
$4/1 Lysol Neutra Air Freshmatic Starter Kit printable
$4 off coupon from 7/10/11 SS
Pay: use your $10 in RR
Final Price=$.23 OOP and a $3.99, $3.00 and $1.00 RR back ($7.99 total)
You can stop here for your maximum RR in your pocket for the lowest OOP or keep going if you want more products

Transaction #4

Buy 4 Dove Men+Care Body Wash 12-13.5oz or Active Clean Shower Tool, $15 total
Corner Office Legal Pad 50 sheets or index cars 70-100 pack, 39c w/in ad coupon
2 Pocket Folder with prongs, $.13
Use 2 B1G1 Dove Men+Care Body and Face Wash or Active Clean Shower Tool, exp. 7/24/11 (RP 06/26/11)
Pay: Use all your RR from Transaction #3
Final Price=$.3 OOP and $5 RR back

Total: $7.11 OOP for $46.12 worth of product, plus $5 RR’s for next week!

Then, if you want to do the EOS shave cream deal, you could buy 2, use your $5 RR, pay $1 and get $4 RR back and end the week with $4 RR.

If you want to do it all in one BIG transaction (you can only get ONE of EACH RR deal per transaction) then get all the RR deals above ONCE. Use the matching coupons. You’ll have 11 items and 8 coupons (including the (3) $1 RRs from last week) so no fillers will be needed.
You’ll pay $29.27 OOP and get $23.99 RR back

Thanks again,  Saving Towards a Better Life

I feel like after reading dozens of threads, and talking to the Catalina headquarters directly, I have a very clear view of how double coupon events at Kmart work and how their catalina program works! I personally tested and yep, you need a filler item if you are buying one item, using one coupon, and paying with a a catalina! You’d need to have two items, one to attach the catalina to and the other for the item with the coupon. Who knew Kmart was so similar to Wags?

Right now, if you buy a Coupon Clutch with the Deluxe Organization Package $49.90 (or any other order over $60) you get a FREE Cuckoo for Coupon Deals T-Shirt!

I have worked out a deal with Coupon Clutch to make this happen.  You must go through my referral link in order for you to get your free shirt. After you place your order, Coupon Clutch will send me your email info so that I can get your shirt size. Shirt sizes are women’s S, M, L, or XL.  Here are more pictures of the shirt.

I use the Coupon Clutch and I absolutely love it. I get compliments at the store all the time. And the deluxe organization package is the BEST! There are various sizes of pockets to put your coupons in, for example 3, 6, or 9 because there are various sizes of coupons! This saves me from not being able to see expiration dates and important info on larger coupons.  Here’s an old video of me showing it off, it’s hard to see but it comes with categories and is really sweet.

The Deluxe Coupon Binder & Organizer Package includes:

  • Coupon Binder
  • 8 Tabbed Dividers
  • 3 Plastic Binder Pockets
  • 11 Three Pocket Pages
  • 11 Six Pocket Pages
  • 18 Nine Pocket Pages
  • 5 Page Instruction Booklet

These polypropylene pages are acid free, archival quality that is perfect for storing coupons. This product features high clarity and strong welds. The pages fit all standard 3-ring binders and albums.

The coupon binders without the organization packages are $30, so you could get two of those as well to qualify.

*This offer is not good with any other offer or promo code.

I would just like to point out the importance of checking Wednesday mornings to see if you won. Here’s why: when I used to send out emails to people, they would go to spam and be found sometimes weeks or months later randomly. Then people would get very upset at me for not holding their prize and giving it to someone else. I’ve had people insist on me paying for prizes out of my own pocket if the sponsors had already shipped the prize to the new winner.  I am unable to do this. So, for liability reasons, I ask you check the site Wednesdays when I announce all winners! Also, on Sundays when I post the weekly coupon insert & shirt giveaway I post the winner of last weeks t-shirt & inserts on that post.

All winners are selected using

$200 credit: Jill Myrick,

STILL no response for the Megablocks set: Maria Kollar,

STILL no response for one of the recordable storybooks:  Diane Bucksky,

All winners must email me at within 48 hours or forfeit their prize and a new winner will be selected. My emails were all getting sent to peoples spam folders, so from now on you need to check the site or the giveaways feed or giveaways emails list to see if you’re a winner!

Wanna win some more?
