I love Panera Bread!

I ate there regularly when I lived in Florida. So sad there are none near me in Utah – I think they would be super busy and do well here!  Anyways, I just wanted to tell you about the Panera rewards program and it’s awesome.   As soon as you register your My Panera card online (or sign up if you don’t have one yet), get a FREE Panera Bread pastry or sweet or Free Espresso Drink/Smoothie on your next visit!

The coupons are automatically loaded on your card so you don’t even have to print it.   If you don’t have  a card yet you’ll get a temporary one to print and use.

Winning Wednesdays: Each week I post new giveaways on Wednesdays – most end the following Tuesday.

Dayspring (a division of Hallmark) has new storybooks that are recordable, but with a twist.  These focus on God and this one specifically on saying prayers at bedtime.   I got one to try out and it was easy to record yourself reading the story.  Then when you are away, (I think this would be great for military people on duty!), your child can open the book and it automatically reads the story to them, but it’s your voice! And you can say whatever you want.  I like to add sound effects to my stories.

This storybook is also great because it has quotes from the Bible in it as well.   The pictures are super cute too.  My daughters love it!

You can find these storybooks at tons of retailers nationwide – Christian book stores, Hobby Lobby & more!

Giveaway: 3 lucky CCD readers get Bedtime Prayers & Promises Hardcover Recordable Storybooks!

Enter any way you want! Can enter just one way or multiple ways.

This giveaway will end on June 28 at midnight eastern time. Must be 18+ and a US or Canadian resident. The sponsors are providing all the products given away. Winner will be chosen by rafflecopter, and winners are announced on my homepage & giveaways feed & giveaways emails (subscribe now) to see if you win – these only have new giveaway post info!); winner will have 48 hours to email and say they won, or an alternate will be chosen.

Well, this morning Facebook decided to mark my Cuckoo for Coupon Deals facebook page, as well as hundreds of other bloggers pages as “spam”.   For the time being, until I can get it un-marked as spam, I will have a hard time posting deals there for you all to see. However, there is a much better way to follow blogs and never miss a deal!

It’s called Google Reader.  You can follow several blogs easily and be the first to see when deals are out!

I only post the top 5 deals that will go quickly on Facebook each day

I do this because I don’t want to clog up your facebook homepage with too many non-time-relevant deals! But ALL deals are shown ASAP in your Google Reader.

Please watch the quick video above to get you all setup on using google reader.  As a huge bonus and thanks to my readers for sticking with me all these years, I have a giveaway for those of you who subscribe to my site on Google Reader  – 10 readers get Cuckoo for Coupon Deals t-shirts, and one reader gets a $50 Gift Card (I got this from Swagbucks, thanks to all my readers!)

As you can see by previous comments on my Facebook page, several winners of the last t-shirts giveaway LOVE their shirts 🙂  I designed them to be similar to Rock & Republic shirts which are slimming and stylish.

TIP: On the right-hand side of Google Reader there is an Expanded and List view options.  I used List view in the video above!

      How to Enter:

      1.   Subscribe in a reader to my blog! First sign in to Google, then click the Subscribe in a reader link, then click on the Google button and it will add my blog to your reader!

      2.  Come back here and leave a comment saying you subscribed. Make sure in the “Enter Email” field you use your google email address so I can track the subscription!  Your email address will not show up in the comment, it will just be view able to me.

      3.  BONUS ENTRY: Post a link to my giveaway as your facebook status and tell your friends about my site! Click on the time stamp of your post, and it will give you the link you can post here to show you did this.

      • Thanks! If you would do us a favor and follow these steps hopefully I’ll get un-marked as spam:
      • 1. Try to post something like this: “// is a great site, check it out”
      • 2. It won’t let you post that, instead you will get an error saying something like we are marked as abusive, etc.
      • 3. Click on the link in the notice that says “let us know” if they are incorrect
      • 4. Fill out the form including our URL and tell them that we aren’t abusive

Giveaway is open to USA & Canada residents only, any age, ends June 21st at midnight EST.  Winners will be announced on my site, on my giveaways google reader feedgiveaways emails (subscribe now)!

I love pickles!  SO I was wondering if this brand is only on the East coast or something, because I have never heard of them – then I found out they are in the refrigerated section of the grocery store according to their website so maybe that is why? Anyways,  they just released a coupon for $2 off one jar on Claussen’s Pickles coupon page ALL GONE! Click “like” to see it.  And my buddy Roland says these go on sale for $2.50 – so only $.50 after coupon!

Finding Swag Codes Sometimes swag codes are released on their Twitter, Facebook, or blog, and I can’t tell you the codes or they’d close my account, but I CAN notify you when they’re released so you can find the code yourself!

Inviting your friends to join For every Swag Buck they win searching the web, you’ll win the same amount! Win up to 1,000 Swag Bucks per referral!

Playing Games Play games for free and you will randomly earn from 1-5 Swag Bucks or you can also buy into tournaments where you risk a small amount of Swag Bucks for the chance to earn a large amount.

Watching videos I haven’t had good luck with this method.

Sending in prize photos and videos 10 Swag Bucks for a photo of you with your prize, 20 swags for a video of you opening your prize! Upload the video to and send the url link of your video to to claim your swags.

You all all know from my “Double Coupons” post that stores get fully reimbursed for coupons.  If a $1 off coupon is doubled to $2, the store gets $1 back from the manufacturer, and pays for the $1 doubled out of their own pocket.

I often post deals with double coupons, and how when you double it you get a great deal.  But someone notices sometimes coupons saying “do not double” or DND on the coupon.  Coupons often say this or “Do Not Triple” on them.

What is the reason a coupon says “Do Not Double”?

Sometimes a coupon says “5” as their first number.  This means that even if it says “Do Not Double” on the coupon, it will still double automatically! If it says “9”, it will not double automatically.  In the video I show you where to look for that number on the coupon. It is up to your store’s coupon policy to determine if your store will double those coupons or not. UPDATE: It doesn’t matter anymore about that as the new barcode system is out.

The reason some coupons say “Do Not Double” is because manufacturers want to be clear that they will not cover the costs of the doubling, and are only reimbursing the store for the face value of the coupon. There are certain cases where a coupon may say $.50, and a store will double it, and the manufacturer will reimburse the store the whole $1!  But in most cases, they will only reimuburse the store $.50, and they put “Do Not Double” to be clear that is how much they will reiumburse the store.

When a store has a double coupon day or always does them, they know they are not going to be reimbursed for anything other then the amount on the coupon.  So the store should accept that coupon in their store promotion since nothing is different about the amount they will be reimbursed as opposed to any other manufacturer’s coupon.

Here’s a list of store coupon policies and if they double or not!  Example: Kmart will double DND coupons.

What are your thoughts on this??? I’d love to hear them!

Go to the Cottonelle Fresh Flushable Moist Wipes page and share it with a friend  and you’ll get a coupon for $1.00 off and so will they! This ends tonight so hurry!

I recently tried the Cottonelle wipes and they are fantastic.  They smell amazing.  They are soft.  They are strong.  But most unique of all, they have a cool dispenser system that hooks up to your wall, so if you want you can hang them in your bathroom.  Then you can re-hook the next package you get and won’t have to change the mounting system either.  Please note the packaging doesn’t  look like they have the dispenser because you can’t see it, but after you take off the plastic packaging and open the lid it is hidden inside!  It’s  a very comforting feeling for guests to come into your bathroom and have some soft wipes for their runny noses – or for baby care.

They had a campaign previously to get these for free, and so many of you may have tried them before.  I’d love to hear your thoughts on them!

“I wrote this review while participating in a blog tour campaign by Mom Central Consulting on behalf of Cottonelle and received product and a promotional item as a thank you for my participation.”
