I transferred a prescription from Kmart to Rite Aid and got a $25 Rite Aid gift card (coupon from 05/09 paper)
I got a $10 Rite Aid gift card in the mail from a previous P&G/Rite Aid promo.
I got a coupon for free Huggies little swimmers (from Huggies, not Rite Aid)

I printed a $5/25 coupon from joining Rite Aid’s Wellness Program
I printed a $5/25 coupon on Rite Aid’s Video Values (you only have to watch 1 video to get this one!)
I printed a $5/20 coupon on Rite Aid’s Video ValuesI printed 6 $3/1 Huggies coupons

I used 2 $2/1 Huggies Pull-ups Training Pants, exp. 6-12-10 (SS 05/16/10)
I used 1 $1.50/1 Huggies Little Swimmers Disposable Swim Pants printableI used 4 $3/1 Huggies diapers coupons
I swiped my Wellness Plus card to get 10% extra off every transaction

I did 3 transactions to use my 3 $5 coupons, I used my $35 in free Rite Aid gift cards and I paid $7.55 OOP

PLUS: I qualify for SCR #800 (free pack of Huggies diapers when you buy 5 packs) and SCR#46 $1 rebate for Little Swimmers

Now I did also spend $10 to get my prescription filled, which I suppose you could add to the cost, although it was for my prescription…

Remember to enter your receipts online for your rebates (I love how I don’t have to pay for a stamp to mail them in).  And make sure to look at the bottom of you receipt, Wellness Rewards card members are having coupons printed on the bottom:

What are Walgreens, CVS, & Rite Aid Coupon Booklets?

Most drug stores offer monthly coupon booklets. These are mostly store coupons that can be “stacked with” manufacturer’s coupons for huge savings.  Check the coupons to make sure they say “store coupon” and not “manufacturer’s coupon” if you want to stack it with another manufacturer’s coupon you already have.

Where can I find these coupon booklets?

You can find these in-stores.  Check by the circular’s when you first walk in.  If they aren’t there, check by the pharmacy or ask a store clerk.  Keep the booklet and use it over and over during the month.

What are Reinventing Beauty coupons at CVS?

Reinventing Beauty is a magazine sold for around $.99 at CVS stores which has coupons in it, both CVS and manufacturer’s coupons.

I just wanted to remind you not to throw out Rite Aid’s ad this week, it has another coupon for $25 gift card when you transfer a prescription to Rite Aid.  I transfer between Rite Aid and Kmart every month, since I seem to always have one of their $25 gift card coupons handy.

Today in my mail I got the new Wellness + card from Rite Aid.  I didn’t apply, it was just sent because I use their Single Check Rebate system.  Anyways, you scan it at Rite Aid to earn points, and to save on members-only pricing.  Points can be accrued to get 10-20% off a purchase.  My letter that came with my card said that since I was such a highly-valued customer, all purchases from now on will get 10% off.  Hopefully all of us who shop their regularly get this discount!

Go here to activate your card once you get one in the mail, or to sign up to get a card.   Even if you have a username and password for SCR, you will have to create a new Wellness + account.

After you sign up, you will be able to print a $5/25 coupon, exp. 7/31/10, plus $50 in coupons will be emailed to you.

Riceworks Rice Crisps $1/1 coupon (you’ll need to sign up to print.)

Currently on sale at Rite Aid for $2.50.  These are good!

UPDATE: No one guessed within $5, so here’s what I spent & saved:

spent: $83.80 (should have been $4 less but I miscalculated one of my buy 8 get $4 off and only bought 7!)
saved: $173.51

I went to Smiths and Rite Aid this morning.  Lookout for Spring Savings coupon booklets at Smith’s  – they had coupons for $1/1 Wheaties Fuel and $1/1 Chocolate Cheerios!

Whoever first guesses what I spent OOP (within $5) wins a coupon for free Orr-Wich Sandwich Thins + random coupons I send with it.

Whoever first guesses what I saved (within $5) wins a coupon for free Heluva Good Cheese or Dip+ random coupons I send with it.

I just wanted to let everyone know that at Rite Aid Huggies Mega Packs are still buy 1 get 1 half off, until tonight anyways, so with 2 $3/1 Huggies coupons from here, you get a great deal!  Also in your calculations keep in mind that I got I paid OOP $10 for a prescription, then got a $25 gift card which I used for the sweet Huggies deal and a few other things shown.

P.S. My husband is picky with his steaks and — groan— I had to pay full price.  Grilling season kills me; he won’t eat frozen meat either!  But without him this shopping trip wouldn’t have been possible – he watched our daughter the whole time so that I could concentrate. Not taking kids shopping is worth paying a little extra in steak it saves me so much headache!

If there are no winners by Monday morning I’ll just tell ya and hold on to the coupons for next time.

Limit one guess for saved and one for spent per person please.
