UPDATE: Try at 4:00 MST

Kroger will have a new Cellfire coupon tomorrow, Friday the 4th, at 3PM exactly.  The coupon will vary by your region, but some areas will be up to $10 off your next Kroger visit.

All Kroger Affiliates, such as Smith’s, are participating.  You must sign up for Cellfire before the promotion in order to get the coupon.  I’ll alert you at 2:55 tomorrow to get ready to go to Cellfire’s special page for the coupon.

What is a Cellfire Uploadable or Clipless coupon?

Log in to Cellfire.  Type in your numbers on your store card – the one you scan to get the good prices.  Then select all coupons you want uploaded to your card.  You don’t have to print them.  When you scan your card at checkout, all coupons are automatically taken off your total purchase. is another clipless coupon company I use at Albertson’s and Smith’s.  I upload the Upromise coupons the 1st day of each month, since they remain the same the rest of the month.

Look what I found at Smiths!  It’s a coupon for FREE Sugar when you buy 2 packages of Sure-Jell, MCP, or Certo!  It’s good until 6/30 so we should be seeing some sales!  Last year was my first year making freezer and canned jam and I just BARELY ran out.  Lasted a whole year!

These coupons were on a tearpad on a display by the ziploc bags in my store.  Keep an eye out for them!

Check out my loot from the Smith’s Doubles Event here.

UPDATE: giveaway has ended, please view winners here

Flower Duet Training DVD:

Ya know that part in The Matrix where Neo plugs in and learns Kung Fu?  Well this took a little longer, but I feel like I just became a pro at flower arranging after watching this 30 minute DVD!  Here is my before picture:

I got this kinda sad looking bunch of flowers from Smiths.
After watching the video and following the instructions, I created this:

Pretty right?  I have absolutely NO flower skill!  I know it’s not the most perfect looking thing, but for’s impressive 🙂
I recommend this video for people like me with no skills.
In 30 minutes I learned how to pick flowers, clean and condition them, and arrange.  There is also a section on bridal bouquets, which I skipped because I don’t care about that. But I’m sure it was good! 🙂

Bummas Cloth Wipes:

So what exactly are Bummas?

They’re small, soft, eco-friendly baby-sized cloths made especially for drying baby bottoms, as well as blocking those surprise squirts! You can virtually eliminate irritating diaper rash without the use of powders, talcs and ointments by simply drying your baby’s bum with a Bumma!

I also tried out Bummas.  They are very soft and absorbent.  I only wish I got them sooner when my newborn son was more of a fire hose (you know what I mean).  He’s 7 month’s now, starting on food, so of course diaper rash becomes an issue.  I really like the Bummas because it eliminates the need for powder or blowing the bum dry.   You can also use them as wipes by just adding some water and then you just throw them in the wash.  (I didn’t try this with messy diapers)  My only complaint is that I didn’t have enough of them.  Maybe I should do my laundry more often.  No…..that’s not the answer. 🙂

Giveaway: 1 winner will get the Flower Duet DVD (view a small clip here) and 1 winner will get 10 Bummas Cloth Wipes (the Wild Ones set here)

UPDATE: No one guessed within $5, so here’s what I spent & saved:

spent: $83.80 (should have been $4 less but I miscalculated one of my buy 8 get $4 off and only bought 7!)
saved: $173.51

I went to Smiths and Rite Aid this morning.  Lookout for Spring Savings coupon booklets at Smith’s  – they had coupons for $1/1 Wheaties Fuel and $1/1 Chocolate Cheerios!

Whoever first guesses what I spent OOP (within $5) wins a coupon for free Orr-Wich Sandwich Thins + random coupons I send with it.

Whoever first guesses what I saved (within $5) wins a coupon for free Heluva Good Cheese or Dip+ random coupons I send with it.

I just wanted to let everyone know that at Rite Aid Huggies Mega Packs are still buy 1 get 1 half off, until tonight anyways, so with 2 $3/1 Huggies coupons from here, you get a great deal!  Also in your calculations keep in mind that I got I paid OOP $10 for a prescription, then got a $25 gift card which I used for the sweet Huggies deal and a few other things shown.

P.S. My husband is picky with his steaks and — groan— I had to pay full price.  Grilling season kills me; he won’t eat frozen meat either!  But without him this shopping trip wouldn’t have been possible – he watched our daughter the whole time so that I could concentrate. Not taking kids shopping is worth paying a little extra in steak it saves me so much headache!

If there are no winners by Monday morning I’ll just tell ya and hold on to the coupons for next time.

Limit one guess for saved and one for spent per person please.
