This giveaway has ended. A third party site,, has selected the winner.

The winner is: Entry #9, Bonnie P, who said “I have never tried it before”

I can’t stress enough that this is a different kind of lotion. It feels different when you put it on, silky is the best word I can think for it. It isn’t thick and sticky like some other lotions, and it dries very quickly when you put it on.

I like how it is for the whole body, including the face, and how it is safe for children because it is hypo-allergenic. This way it is in all-in-one purchase. I used it on my face and it didn’t cause any breakouts. I am very careful with what I put on my face. Many of you may have noticed I don’t wear any foundation or powder on my face because I feel like they make my face breakout. I was glad the lotion didn’t cause me any problems on my face!

It is great for moderately dry skin; I don’t know about severely dry hands though because Andrea (my friend with severely dry hands) felt like she needed the lotion re-applied to the severely dry areas quite often.

SkinMD is offering one lucky Cuckoo For Coupon Deals reader a free bottle of lotion (retail value $18). For the entire month of February our readers can also use coupon promo code “cfc4805” for 20% off online purchases here.

If you are looking in-stores, this product is sold at Health Essentials Nutrition in Spanish Fork, at various Walgreen’s and Kmart locations, and at many other pharmacies nationwide.

Each week I do coupon match-ups based on circulars for Fresh Market, Macey’s, Shopko, Kmart, Walgreens, Rite Aid, and sometimes Walmart and Smith’s. These are the stores closest to me in Spanish Fork. Are there any other stores in Utah that anyone would like to see coupon match-ups done for?

Disney is BACK!

We have this awesome theater in Spanish Fork where you can see new releases for $4, and kids under 3 are free! So I took my daughter to see the Princess and the Frog tonight.

Finally, Disney has gone back to their roots.  This movie had music with lyrics and the main characters dancing about.  That is something that has been missing from several of the latest Disney projects. This movie is going to be infamous like The Lion King and Beauty and the Beast.  And the hand-drawn animation is stellar; the computer generation stuff was cool at first, but now it is too lifelike. My 2-year-old daughter doesn’t pay attention to computer-generated movies with all talk and no dancing and singing.  She was on the edge of her seat during this whole show, captivated by its magic.  Thank you Disney!

P.S. the New Orleans street-style voodoo magician was a truly unique villain!

Update: I just read other reviews of this movie and people who hadn’t even seen it were up in arms about it! Heated discussions everywhere. What are your thoughts?

suzanneSuzanne Christensen works at the Spanish Fork Public Library.  She does FREE “Story Time” Tuesdays at 10:15 (making Story Time a Cuckoo Deal, since we love Freebies!), but it is much more than a simple story time! She creates a unique theme each week and incorporates songs, dances, books, and activities centered around the theme. Her audience is currently toddlers, but she has 10 years experience in doing story time’s for various age groups.

I take my 2 girls almost every week.  Suzanne creates an atmosphere that is great for toddlers to learn when to wiggle and when to sit still and listen to her engaging stories.  I think of story time more like “pre-preschool” since my daughter is learning so much each week. Suzanne uses props,  dynamic voice levels, and asks the toddlers questions while she is reading to keep them engaged.  If she looks like she is glowing in the pic, I didn’t edit it, she really just sparkles!

Thanks Suzanne, you do an amazing job!

Here is a picture of Nov. 10th’s story time:

What does this have to do with saving money or cuckoo deals?  Well, it is FREE to take your child to Suzanne’s story times!  What a great cheap pre-pre-school!

Not in the Spanish Fork Area? I lived in Orlando, FL and they had amazing story times at their local library, Dr. Phillips Library.  I have heard of libraries across the country doing story times, so call your local library – most of them feature free story times!
