My Parent Rewards here has a 30 day free trial of their program similar to the 2010 Entertainment Book where you get discounts at restaurants and local businesses! MPR combines all coupon books across the US & Canada into 1 membership. You get a card that you can swipe at most merchants for a discount, instead of having to carry a coupon around.

This is normally $20, but they are currently running a free trial for 30 days with no credit card required to try it out!

From Lehi to Spanish Fork, UT they had 293 offers.  My fav: B1G1 Free Golfing at Spanish Oaks.  Golfing is so expensive maybe me and my husband will go once this summer!

UPDATE: We have the 2 winners! I spent $46.03 and saved $47.12 with coupons and a $5 gift card I got for the Kellogg’s deal.  Tune in every Saturday to guess again!

We’ve played before, do I need to explain the rules? I went to Target today and found some un-advertised deals (view here) so now guess what I spent and what I saved.

  1. First person within $5 of either wins a coupon for “Free Orrwich Sandwich Thins”.
  2. Second person within $5 of what hasn’t been guessed yet wins a coupon for “Free Country Bob’s All Purpose Sauce.”  This coupon isn’t valid in UT or ID because the sauce isn’t in-stores here 🙁 Remember my Country Bob’s giveaway here, that stuff is good!

Get stocked up for your super bowl party!!! Usually you would find these  rebates on grocery store aisles, but these are legitimate rebates that you can print and send in!!  I have called them personally to verify. Only these four can be printed but ONLY TWO are valid in Utah (the 2nd and 4th one).  The 2nd and 4th ones don’t require any beer purchases, either!!!!

Coors Light Save $7.50 MIR Purchase $20 worth of Tostitos Chips, Tostitos Dips, Pepsi Carbonated Soft Drinks, Condiments, Plastic Cups, Ice, Paper Plates, and/or Deli Items (any brand, any size).
Compliments of Coors Dept# 101061 Valid in UT
NBPR in AL, AR, CT, HI, KY, LA, ME, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NY, SD, UT, VA, VT and WV. Offer begins 12/11/2009-2/10/2010.

There are other rebates out there just like these, but the ones I’ve seen and read about all have different Dept. #’s so as long as those are different you can do them all.

They are doing a paperless trial with these. I hope they all start doing this (that will show the people who steal the whole pad and sell them on eBay! angry5 )

Everyone’s printing options are probably different, but if you want to save paper and ink, select “print multiple pages per sheet” and tell it to print pages 2, 4. That way it won’t print out all four full pages!

Thanks, Momto4Girls!

bruschetta

This is a very cheap meal to make.  Until Dec. 8, Buy Low Market in Provo, UT has boneless skinless chicken breasts for $1.19 lb, which is a CUCKOO deal.  I have bought 40 lbs from them and frozen it in freezer bags.  I will defrost some for this meal.

Stuffing was $.78 at Walmart all last month, I think we should all be stocked up on it.

In August there were tons of deals on canned tomatoes. I got mine at Macey’s.

Macey’s had Kraft shredded cheese for $.98, and I had $.50 off coupons.  Shredded cheese can be frozen and un-thawed in the refrigerator, so I bought 15 bags.  I take out one bag from my freezer a week to un-thaw and use for the next week. Note: Chunk cheese, or regular cheese  that is not pre-shredded does not un-thaw well and I would not freeze it!

So as I stock up on food, I am going to share recipes I make with the food from my storage.

Bruschetta Chicken Bake:

  • 1 can (14 oz) diced tomatoes with green chiles inside
  • 1 pkg. Stove Top stuffing mix
  • 1/2 c water
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 c. mozzarella cheese
  1. Preheat the oven to 400
  2. Place the tomatoes, stuffing mix, water & salt & peper in a bowl & mix
  3. Place chicken in 13×9 in. baking dish, sprinkle with cheese. Top with stuffing mixture.
  4. Bake for 45 min uncovered.  Put more cheese on top for last 5 minutes

I am an avid skier and snowboarder, so if this is your first year, trust me you can’t buy discounted tickets once you get to the resort. The best way to save is by buying your tickets early online. Right now Liftopia.com is offering Snowbird, UT tickets for $33, these are normally $72! These are good until Dec. 24th. To find the best deals, be flexible on your search dates as each date has a different deal!

The best deals I found on Liftopia.com are:

  • $54.99 for the Canyons in Park City, UT (30% off)
  • $39.99 for Brighton, UT (31% off)
  • $49.99 for Sun Valley, ID (only 11% off, but I love to ski here!)
  • $60.00 for one day ticket plus $15 towards lunch, at Keystone, CO (33% off)

There are some resorts offering as much as 70% off, but not for resorts I ski at or recommend.
