Here’s a receipt pic, but in a quick nutshell here’s what happened:

  1. I posted previously that BOGO items DO count towards the $25 to get coupons to double.  Well guess what?  I have now tested how these affect $5 Kmart Award cards, and the news is great. My total was $48 after all BOGO free discounts, and I qualified for the $5 Kmart gift card!  So that will make doing transactions this week so much easier!  Now don’t include items you are getting free with Kmart store coupons & discounts in your $50 total, but for example, items like Glade that are BOGO free, you can count the free item towards your $50 total!
  2. Up to 10 coupons are doubling in one transaction – and it was stated in my ad that only 5 were. So this could be nationwide folks!  Leave a comment below if this works for you. My ad stated “5” but as you can see in my receipt, all 6 $1 coupons doubled.
  3. “FREE” Items that are on BOGO are counting towards the $15 total to get the $5 coupon!  For example, I bought 4 Glade Oil refill kits in one transaction, about $20 not including BOGO free store deal. Only around $10 after all BOGO free sales, but before I scanned any coupons.  But my $5 coupon still printed!  Thanks reader Malory for giving me the idea to test this!
  4. Bonus Glade catalinas are printing! One for $1/1 your next trip and another for $2 off your next trip.  That makes the glade deals pretty insane.  Read my transactions below to see what I bought to trigger those.
  5. On both transactions, I got an awesome CRT for FREE Smart Sense Apple Juice!  I was able to combine it in my second transaction with the coupon in the monthly ad, and get 2 free in one transaction!
  6. As always with BOGO 50% off sales, when combined with a BOGO free coupon, you get the full price off, not the half price. View my receipt here. Depending on your browser, you may have to double-click on it to view it bigger.

Let me know how your trips go.  It will be easy to do them now that we know your total doesn’t have to be over $50 after factoring in BOGO savings.
