Kmart’s ad is up and the deals are great! Confused about where to get coupons that aren’t printable – learn how to get those coupons!

  • Kmart will double up to $.99 manufacturer’s coupons!
  • You may only purchase 4 of the same item using double coupons
  • Only 1 coupon will be doubled per item.
  • You must scan your shop your way rewards card to get your coupons doubled
  • Kmart won’t give you overage.
  • BOGO Free coupons will double:  The amount of the item being double needs to be under $.99. I used a coupon said BOGO free up to $1.39, but the items were $.69 each and it did double them! Automatically, I didn’t have to argue or anything.

Final prices reflect coupons being doubled!

Shop Your Way Rewards Card: Must be scanned to get most deals/rewards at Kmart. Every 1,000 points is worth $1.00. These are easy to redeem – when you are checking out just say you’d like to pay with the rewards you have on your card. I just used $12 in rewards the other day!

Warning:  This list of stores participating in Kmart double coupon event is floating around; but don’t trust it! It doesn’t list my store and I called  them and they are participating, plus it was in my ad they were participating.  So please check your ad or call your store to see if they’re participating!

    which page of the ad tells you if your store is participating?

      It’s a small red bar across the top of the second to last page. Very easy to miss! Also, kmart employee’s usually aren’t informed of these events. often my readers say they were told my an employee they weren’t doing it, but alas they scan their Kmart card and the coupons are doubled!

    I called my store as they are on the list,the store stated they were not doing double coupons. So I called corp and inquired and sure enough they are doing it Corp sent them a FYI email for me to tell them to read if they tried to refuse. So you may want to call corp and double check.

    So is it then ALL Kmart stores in the country? I can’t find my Kmart ad to see if it is participating. I’m in Salt Lake City.

      most in SLC are participating, but you may want to call first before you go in

    When you have a coupon for $1 off will they double it by just taking an additional 99 cents off or will they not double it at all?

    Odd questions. On another blog I follow it breaks down the Catalina rewards. For the Cottonelle TP it was saying that when you buy 2 you get 3.50 back which is a 1.75 per item. If that’s true wouldn’t it be a little bit cheaper to do 3 transactions of 2 instead of 2 transactions of 3?

      I haven’t tested that deal, on coupon network it just shows the catalina for when you buy 3

        When I printed the info from coupon network it does say buy 2 and get $3.50 OR 3 or more and get $4.50 so I think breaking it into 3 transactions would be a better deal.

          I agree! thanks for the update! I guess you have to print it to see that extra info. I didn’t print it because I knew you didn’t have to print it to have it print at Kmart.

    OOOOHHHH And can I use the catalina that I would get from the first cottonelle trans on the next cottonelle trans and have it still print out a new catalina? Or is it kind of like walgreens register rewards where if you use the same rr that you would get it cancels it out and won’t print one? (Sorry it’s almost 5 am and I haven’t been to bed so it may not make sense!)

      sometimes Kmart catalinas say they aren’t valid until 2 weeks after they print, so you may not be able to use the catalinas right then.

    When using the b1g1 coupons on the pet food, how does it make it free? I didn’t think the b1g1 were able to be doubled. Just curious, I wanted to get the pet food for charity. Thanks!

      It automatically doubled for me! The price was $.69, and it took that off twice on my receipt! So as long as the sales price of the item you are buying is under $.99, the BOGO will double!

        just make sure you scan your rewards card BEFORE anything….otherwise it’s all a big mess :( been there done that….the B1G1 coupons should double automatically :)

    I am a wee bit confused! lol. if they are doubling the B1G1 cpns, wouldn’t the whiska’s also be free? If they are 50 cents each normally and you use the B1G1 cpn, then the .50 is doubled making them free, right?

      Any item that is under $.99, if you use a BOGO free coupon on it, both end up FREE!

    Everyone,
    I stopped by Kmart today for the Cottonelle deal and some freebies along the way. I had the worst experience. This is what I intended to purchase along with other items:
    3 Cottonelle Deals – had 3 .75 coupons that would double
    4 Honest Teas – they had tear pad for $.50 cents so it would make them FREE
    4 Tic Tacs – coupon for .75 off; would make them FREE
    1 Twizzler – coupon for .50 off

    I called before hand and this Kmart was participating in double coupon event.

    Well, upon check out, the cashier had so many questions about every single coupon and stated that I could not use the .75 coupon for the cottonelle deal. Per the coupon, the policy read…”one coupon per purchase.” and so she insisted that I could only use 1 coupon or that every cottonelle would have to be rung up individually including anything I had more than 1 like everything I was buying. That would mean that I could not take advantage of the Catalina offer, either since every Cottonelle had to be rung up separately according to them. OMG….I am not a shelf cleaner and did not want to hold up line so I waited for about 20 min until they rung up other customers without coupons. Once she rung me up, it was not a deal or things were not rung up as they should have. I went over to CS and they confirmed that Cottonelle had to be rung up separately or if I wanted them to ring up together, I could only use 1 coupon. I had them process refund and I walked out of store and very politely told the CS that they have lost a customer.

    I don’t really shop Kmart but thought the paper deal was one I could not pass up…but I was sadly disappointed.

    Did I misunderstand your postings here or is my Kmart not applying the coupon policy correctly?

      Your kmart was in the wrong! The ad even says 4 identical coupons can be used in one transaction!!! Call corporate ASAP and let them know that cashier needs re-trained, Per Purchase vs. Per Transaction are two very very different things, per purchase means per ITEM purchased and you can get multiple items and use multiple coupons, I have an entire video on this subject: http://www.cuckooforcoupondeals.com/videos/one-coupon-per-purchase-vs-transaction-video/

        Thank you for your reply. I happen to be near a different Super K this afternoon and decided to give it another try. I called store first and they were doubling coupons. So…there I went.

        I placed 5 Cottonelles in shopping with hopes of doing 2 separate transactions as listed. The registers were so long and ended up going to CS to checkout. Mistake — lesson learned; no catalina printers there :-) Got refund and went back to regular line.

        Did transaction #1 no problem. Received Catalinas. Woo Hoo

        Did transaction #2 ; attempted to roll the catalinas $4.50 and cashier said that I could not use since the register was not allowing it. I asked why? she went on to tell me that per the coupon, it had to be on a separate trip. So…I told her this is a separate trip/transaction. She replied that it would have to be done on a different day. What????
        At this point, I just took my 2nd Catalina $3.50 and called it a day.

        I had more OOP but am happy with the deal.

        Question is…whether I can use these Catalinas at other stores like Publix? I noticed it was a manufacturer coupon so just want to check with ya’ll.

          that was a crabby cashier. My first catalina paid for my second transactions, no beeps or anything

            Crabby…agree. I guess I could have gone to CS and have them apply the Catalina but…from this day’s earlier experience, I just did not want to waste any more time.

    Sadly, according to their coupon policy they do not stack coupons, which means when I tried to use the shaving gel manuf coupon and the kmart coupon it didn’t not work, $.99 is cheap for the brand, but I can get it cheaper.

    Did anyone try using the $4.50 CAT from Cottonelle on the 2nd transaction buying 2 packs and successfully get back the $3.50 CAT? I am scared using my $4.50 Cat will prevent me from getting the $3.50 Cat.

        I went to the store later and tried my CAT, but unless you buy an item that you have not already use a coupon for(and the item must be greater thatn $3.50) they would not let me use it. It was a real pain. The computer shut down in the middle of my transaction and they had to redo the whole thing.

          no! You can have more coupons then items, as long as your total isn’t below 0, like you may have to buy an item to bring your price over 0

    Do the coupons for the Cottonelle that are $0.75 double? I never knew that KMart doubles coupons!

      it is only on certain weeks, this week happens to be a double coupon week! I always post their deals so you can see the double coupon weeks

    Does anyone know if i can use the .35 cent off softsoap coupon on the softsoap that is 10 for $10 in the ad? That would make them 30 cents each at my store that doubles.

    Ok dumb question….I am new to couponing and have never used CouponNetwork before. The deals listed under YourBucks for catalinas…are those something I need to print to actually receive the catalinas? Or are they just listed there to let me know what deals are available? Thanks!

    I just realized I only have 2 Cottonelle Qs :( I checked YourBucks and it lists the 3 Cottonelle = $4.50 catalina. Does that mean my store will for sure do the 2 Cottonelle = $3.50 catalina too? Or is that one hit & miss?

      well when you actually go to print that offer that is where it shows the $3.50 for 2 so try that

    Im so pissed I just got back from Kmart. I tried to purchase the chex mix which was 2 for 3 dollars and I had 2 .50/1 mq coupons which shouldve doubled to $1 making the oop $1. They wouldnt double and the manager said that the coupon wouldnt double because it was going to be more than 75% off the original price. What is he talking about? I did not read that in the coupon policy. Does anyone know the number to Kmart corporate?

      I don’t think that is true. I used double coupons on Twizzlers. The blue ones were only $1.14 and I used a $.75 coupon. It rang in for $.75 and then on the double it rang in the complete balance of $.39 making it completely free. The register did it automatically.

    I had a good experience at KMart tonight, other than the fact that I asked about the coupon booklet they were supposed to have. A wonderfully helpful CSM at the service desk said that they, for whatever reason, didn’t receive any, and they’ve checked with other stores in our region, and they didn’t receive them, either! There went my stock-up on shave cream/gel!! Then when checking out, I realized that the Softsoap coupon is for an 8 oz package or larger, and the ones I put in my cart (the “normal” Softsoap size) were only 7.5 oz. There went my hand soap stock-up! BUT….I did get a few things, and I was soooooo excited to get the Air Wick starter kit for only $1.49 ($5.49 sale price in my region)!!! I hadn’t noticed that on the list when I first checked it! So all in all, it was a good trip.
