BIG Rite Aid Change Coming Nationwide Sept 2nd! Must Read!

As of September 2^nd ALL members of the Rite Aid Wellness program will have their +Ups automatically loaded to their wellness card. Boo! This is NATIONWIDE! They were just testing it in a few areas, but here it comes! The downfall to this is that when your +Ups are loaded to your card you cannot use them until after 6am the next day. If you want to do multiple transactions in a day to use your +Ups as you go (and reduce your OOP) you can’t with this new change.

Good News – You can opt out of this load2card program! You can call at 1-800-RITEAID (1-800-748-3243) or at the register in the store.

Here are the PRINTABLE instructions the cashier will need to “opt out” and you can continue to get your +Ups printed (check box to print):

• Press “shift + esc” on the register keypad, then click on the “start” button in the lower left hand corner of the screen

• Select “+Ups option” from the start menu, scan the customer’s wellness card (or enter the customer’s card number or phone number) and press “submit”

• Once a card is found or selected the register will redirect to the update screen

• The customer’s current option will be displayed and may be changed by pressing the button next to the appropriate delivery choice and pressing submit

• Changes are now saved and paper +Ups will be issued on future purchases. According to Rite Aid it may take up to 48 hours for the update to take effect, but some have reported receiving paper +Ups almost immediately after opting out.
