I know this will sound crazy, but I can’t count exactly how many Styx concerts I’ve been to! I know, I’m in my early 20’s so I am a rarity.  But I’ve been to Tom Petty, Styx, well just name an oldie and I’ve probably seen them in concert.  Fleetwood Mac? One of my favorites!  I grew up listening to classic rock with my father. Now I still listen to lots of country and pop, even been to a Green Day concert, but turn on some Rolling Stones and I’m singing right along. My all-time favorite may be Joe Walsh’s ‘Rocky Mountain Way’ while I’m driving to Grand Targhee to go skiing.

When I was dating Chris (who is now my husband) I decided it was time to introduce him to my parents.  Me and Chris meet up with my parents at a Styx concert.  My mom was in a  tie-dyed Styx shirt and my parents were rocking out.  Chris had ever been to any concert of any kind, so I think he was quite shocked.  My parents were even more shocked that he had never heard of Styx before!
