Reader Jen noticed some deals not on my weekly Albertson’s Store Coupon Deals post:

Crest Toothpaste and oral B Indicator toothbrushes are 2/$3
You get a $1 coupon to use on your next purchase wyb 2.
You can use the $0.75/1 Crest Toothpaste or Liquid Gel, exp. 7/31/11 (P&G 06/05/11)
You pay $1.50 oop, but with the $1 you get back you only pay 50 Cents making them only 25 cents a piece…but even better specially marked boxes have $10 worth of coupons inside the box. The coupons in the box are:

  • $1/1 covergirl product (exp 1/31/13)
  • $7/1 any size 3D white strips professional effects, 3D crest white (exp 1/31/13)
  • $1/1 any Iams dog or cat food (exp 1/31/13)
  • $1/1 any size secret clinical strength(exp 1/31/2013)
  • The coupons don’t expire until 2013. I don’t know if any of these products are in small or trial sizes, but none of them exclude trial sizes and they all say ANY size on them.

Also, it was on your site for the Emerald Breakfast to go $2/5 and you mentioned a $1.50 off coupon, but there is also a printable $1/1 coupon, too. For these you can $1 off your next shopping trip wyb 2.
So this is my scenario:
Buy 4 Emerald’s Breakfast pay $10
Use 4 $1/1 Emerald Breakfast On The Go printable or here
Pay $6 oop
Get $2 for your next shopping trip making them only $4 for 4 boxes or $1 a box. I watch these because my family likes them and they are usually $3 – 4 a box so this is a great deal!

Thanks, Jen!

Make sure to use your referral link in the comments below since there’s no Albies near me so I don’t need those referrals!

You can get coupons 4 ways:

Print coupons at home
eCoupons (uploaded to your store loyalty card)
Sunday Coupon Inserts – mandatory if you want to extreme coupon!
Mailed to your house

.
1.  Printed Online:

How do I find printable coupons?
Next to each match-up on our site we list what coupon to use, and have  a link of where to print it from, normally one of the following 3 reputable sites:

How many times may I print each coupon?

You can print nearly all coupons two times per computer by using the back browser (the little < sign in your toolbar).  Hit the back button and then click “resend” to print the coupon a second time!  Some printable coupon sites, you have to manually go back and reselect the coupon a second time.

What does IE or FF mean? These are the 2 most recommended Web Browsers for printing coupons since you CAN’T print coupons using Google Chrome (please email me if you find a way to print from Google Chrome)

IE= Internet Explorer
FF=Firefox

When printing coupons from (bricks.coupons.com) the url is different for those browsing in firefox than it is for internet explorer.  Click the link next to IE if you’re in explorer or FF if you’re in firefox.  You can’t print twice from both.

When printing from IE, letters in code should be “vi” or “wi”
A Firefox (FF) link will read “vg” or “wg” (change a IE link to Firefox by looking for the “vi” part and changing it to “vg”)
If you are using Safari on a Mac, change any of these codes to “xs”, then hit enter and you’ll be printing.

.
2. eCoupons:

What is an eCoupon, Loadable or Clipless coupon?
An eCoupon is an electronic coupon get online in a similar manner to a printable coupon.  Instead of printing the coupon, you load it onto your store loyalty card.  When you scan your loyalty card at the cash register, or give your phone number, you will automatically receive the savings if you’ve made a qualifying purchase.  These work at Albertson’s, Smith’s, Kroger’s, etc...full list here.

Where do I find eCoupons?
ECoupons may be loaded to your store loyalty card from the following sources:

  • Cellfire.com
  • Shortcuts.com
  • PGeSAVER.com
  • UPromise – you can load coupons to Smith’s, Krogers, Albertson’s, Rite Aid, and more!

.
3. Coupons in the Sunday Newspaper (Coupon Inserts) – The Most Important Part To Successful Couponing!

In many of my posts, you’ll see references to use Sunday coupon inserts; look at the picture above to see what Sunday Coupon Inserts look like. Here is  an example of how I tell you which insert a coupon is in when I post a deal:

Buy Olay Lotion $2.99
Use the $1/2 Select Olay Products, exp. 11-30-10 (SS 10/31/10)
Final Price= $1.99

What does the pink coupon information in the deal above mean?

  • $1/2 = $1 off when you buy 2.
  • exp. 11-30-10 means the coupon will expire on 11-30-10 and will no longer be useable.
  • (SS 10/31/10) means a coupon came from the Smart Source insert in the Sunday paper on 10/31/10.

Inserts in the Sunday paper: SS= Smart Source, RP= Red Plum, P&G= Proctor & Gamble (once per month).  Insert coupons can be used at any store that accepts manufacturer’s coupons.  Almost all grocery and drug stores do.

How do I get the coupons?

  • Subscribe to the newspaper! In fact, we suggest you subscribe to 4-6 copies of the Sunday paper. I get 5 copies of The Daily Herold in Utah.  I have worked out a deal with them to get you the lowest rates! You’ll need multiple copies of the Sunday paper for coupon inserts!
  • Non-Utah: discounted newspaper home delivery here.
  • Order them at My Coupon Hunter;  a coupon clipping service.
  • Talk to your local convenience store to see if they’ll give their old papers to you.
  • Check coffee shops and fast food restaurants where you’re a patron.
  • Ask your friends, family, co-workers, church members if they’ll save their inserts for you.
  • Buy coupons (pay a handling fee) by purchasing coupons

.
4.  Mailed to your house:

    • Kraft Foods. Get access to freebies and coupon booklets when available.
    • Sign up with Mambo Sprouts to get healthy and organic coupons by mail.
    • Target coupons by mail. No one really knows the rhyme or reason Target uses to decide who gets these. But it doesn’t hurt to stop over and create a faves list.
    • Want a lot of one particular coupon? Order them at My Coupon Hunter;  a coupon clipping service.  She usually charges $.05 per coupon, but if it is a high-value coupon and you know a hot sale is coming, its worth the $.05.  Also, note that if  you know a sell is going on right now, since it can take a few days for the coupon to get to you, you might be too late. Smith’s Mega Events are usually 2 weeks long so there is plenty of time to order the coupons.
    • Order whole inserts through Coupons By DeDe

In Utah, we don’t have the luxury of Albertson’s, so this past week’s Kmart Doublers event was the only coupon doubler event most of us will see all year.  As for me, I think it went well.

Some people were upset that Kmart was limiting customers to 5 coupons doubled per day.  I thought it was nice.  I didn’t have to wake up at the crack of dawn and run to the store, because it wasn’t going to be ransaked with people piling up their mini-vans with 50 boxes of freebies.   I went, got my 5 items per day – infact I went a step further and followed the rules of not using two of the same coupons per day. This way everyone got some deals, not just the first person there as soon as they opened.

Anyways, I really hope Kmart starts doing these more often.   If you enjoyed the double coupon event and want more, email Kmart at help@customerservice.kmart.com or call them 1-866-KMART-4U (1-866-562-7848) and tell them you appreciated the Kmart Double Coupon event and it got you doing more shopping there then usual or anything else you have positive to say about it.   Stores usually listen to feedback!

Go here to check out a new coupon for $10 off Newly Transferred Prescription at Fresh Market.  I am starting to wait until Saturdays to shop there, because all the coupons they add to their coupon page during the week always expire on Saturday, and then I only have to go once.

I enjoyed my 4 freebies last week: salad dressing, tuna, Fat Boy ice cream sandwich, and Mac & Cheese. I bought one more box of 8 apple juices and scored all four freebies at once; apparently they can be used together, just once per person per week. Please don’t abuse the system or it could end up like Albertson’s… ditching us or ceasing to release awesome coupons!

Use eCoupons at Smith’s, Albertson’s, and the following stores:

What is an eCoupon, Loadable or Clipless coupon?
An eCoupon is an electronic coupon get online in a similar manner to a printable coupon.  Instead of printing the coupon, you load it onto your store loyalty card.  When you scan your loyalty card at the cash register, or give your phone number, you will automatically receive the savings if you’ve made a qualifying purchase.

Go to Cellfire.com and enter in your store loyalty card #, then click on the new eCoupons to add them to your card.

Go to UPromise.com and enter in your store loyalty card #, then click on “coupons & deals” then “Grocery eCoupons”.  Then you select ALL the eCoupons.  I try to do this the 1st day of every month since normally that is when their coupons re-fresh.

Rite Aid now accepts Upromise!

These offers have all been added to the Cuckoo Deals Coupon Database as well to make matching them with store deals even easier!

So I went to the new Fresh Market today because of this Cuckoo match-up:

Quilted Northern 3-ply Toilet Paper 12 double rolls Sale $4.88 (Normally $10.06 at most AFS)
$1.00/1 Coupon (RP 10/11-4)
= $3.88 each (but wait, it gets better…)

Now I’m going to submit my receipt for this $5 rebate!

–  my $5 rebate =  $2.91 each

Final Price $11.64 for 4

Boy, was I glad I didn’t get mine last week at the Smith’s Mega Event! They were all out when I went, and since I got everything else on my list I just skipped getting it. Yea!

And since Fresh Market used to be Albertson’s they had bins of old Albertson’s juice on clearance, and I love 100% Cranberry Rasberry juice so I snatched some up!

Update: The rebate says it must be postmarked by 11/19, so if you are going to do this deal, remember to hurry and mail your receipt! I already mailed mine today!
