UPDATE: Giveaway has ended.

My daughter’s had a little tea party with their dolls, while taste-testing Peeled Snacks.

What we though:

  • We all loved them.
  • Although they are dried snacks, they are not hard. They are soft, chewy, and moist.  Other dried bananas I’ve tried are hard and crunchy, with little flavor.  These somehow retained the flavor and weren’t crispy.
  • I like the convenient packages to travel on-the-go or for church
  • I love that they are 100% fruit (no sugar added)
  • I think their price is  a quite high.  If you order online, make sure to sign up for their newsletter (at the very bottom left-hand-side of their page) because you’ll get free shipping, which helps with cost. OR you can get these at Whole Foods and Starbucks.

Cherries were our favorite.  Whoever wins, I’d love it if you email me to let me know what your favorite is!

Organic Fruit Picks Variety Pack

Out of 287 entries, the winner of the Clutch Coupon Binder Giveaway selected by is:

Julie, who’s email address is “possum7000@”. Her winning comment was: “I’m a subscriber too!”

In her comment #36 she said she’d like the “Turquoise and Chocolate Polka Dots Coupon Clutch Binder”. I have emailed Julie and if she doesn’t respond in 48 hours a new winner will be selected.

Thanks to all those who entered.  You can visit until April 30th with code “cuckoo” and get 10% off, plus if you select from their drop-down list that you only want the cover and not the binder, you will get an additional $5 off.

Or if you are a Spanish Fork, UT resident: you can be the first person to email me at Deidre(at) and say you want my old red binder and you can have it FREE. View my coupon binder tutorial here (I explain how to put together a coupon binder, from clipping to sorting and categories), my old red binder is the binder I used in it.  Warning: You may just find people coming up to you asking if you run Cuckoo for Coupon Deals.  Just kidding.

Sorry I don’t have time to co-ordinate schedules and meet up to give away my old binder.  I can leave the binder at Fresh Market in Spanish Fork at Customer Service with your full name on it.  Who knows, it may just be full of baseball card holders and random coupons…

If you don’t live in Utah, Spanish Fork is tinsy-tiny no matter where someone lives Fresh Market is not out of their way! I know you were wondering. I would be.

“Fill your cart” Grocery Store & Coupon Deals

Every Wednesday select the category “Coupon Match Ups” to view this list of new coupon match-ups done by hard-working bloggers.

Sorry it was late this Wednesday – Mister Linky wasn’t working earlier…

I don’t have time to post all the hot grocery store deals out there, so if you found a great deal leave a link or comment below!

I have already stated that you may only double the same coupon once per day and there is a limit of 5 total coupons per customer per day.  This means, you can only double one tampax coupon per day.  Many large coupon sites are falsely reporting deal scenerios where you buy 3 of the same product – you can’t do that.

However, you can buy tampax one day, and come back the next business day and buy more and the coupon will double.

Please follow the rules – we don’t want to lose Kmart’s doublers and have them never do it again! Also, I should note that I was the only couponer in Kmart this morning and was shocked that all the products were still there and no-one else was trying to get all the hot deals!  I had so much fun, even with my two kids climbing out of the cart.  I love doublers and although it may not last, for today, I love Kmart.

Thanks to Mandi at I Heart Coupon Deals for strolling Kmart and finding so many killer deals and emailing them to me:

Remember  over here when I gave away 8 slice cutters? I got great reviews from all the people who won.

I was the first blogger Slice ever had review their product, and they thought it was so good that they have started offering these to several other bloggers to giveaway. My site has grown so much since my first giveaway, they thought I better host another one too.

They sell for just $6.03 here on and they are eligible for free super saver shipping!

Thanks to Slice for giving me 25 slice safety cutters to giveaway -there will be 25 winners! According to their site, “the recessed ceramic blade lasts longer than steel and never rusts. Ever.” So I can use my slice to cut coupons forever, sweet!

Cuckoo Level: 5 out of 5

Have you noticed posts this week by Audrey? She is a great new addition to my blog!  Like me, Audrey is a coupon mom (look at her two cuties above!) who loves sharing the great deals.

She lives in Salt Lake City and is going to be posting lots of great Whole Foods and other local SLC deals! Plus coupons and national online deals too.

She’s also posts Meals Using Deals!

Genius! At Fresh Market until Mar. 30th:

Chicken – Gold’n Plump bone-in Breasts, Thighs, Wings or Drumsticks, 20-24oz pkg $2.00
$1/1 printable
Final Price= $1 or $1.25

She posted a recipe for Freezer Chicken Curry and for Crumb Coated Chicken Thighs using these and other ingredients on sale this week!  So she’ll be posting the coupon deals and online sales through the week on my site, and recipes using the deals on her site!

We only post online sales if they are 75% or more off retail because if you’re a couponer like us, you only want the hottest deal and can’t afford/don’t have time for the rest.

We also only post legit coupons – no pdfs uploaded on to someone’s server that aren’t legit.  We don’t want you getting in trouble for using fraud coupons! And we don’t want stores to stop accepting coupons due to a few people using fraud coupons.  These cost stores lots of money and make them stop taking printables, because manufacturer’s don’t reimburse them for fraud coupons. We never photocopy coupons or scan/upload them to servers, and we hope you wouldn’t either!  Learn more here: Coupon Information Corporation (CIC)

I’ve been working with Audrey all week and feel that Audrey will continue to maintain the high standards I set on my site.

More About Audrey:

“I live in Salt Lake City and have loved the coupon for some time now.  Starting January 1st I decided to cut my grocery and toiletries budget from 600+ a month to $250.  I have 2 kids in diapers so I wasn’t sure I could do it.  But so far I’ve been pretty successful!  I think we eat better than we ever did before!  For me it’s all about planning my shopping trips and taking the time to make a menu plan.  Im also big on food storage.  Since I’ve been seriously using coupons I’ve been able to add quite a bit to our food storage while also cutting our budget in half!  Amazing!!  It might sound like a chore to some…all the planning…but I’m addicted now!

I’ll post a family shot when I get one.  I’m always taking the pictures!”

Welcome Audrey!!!

One of my favorite things about being a “couponer” is I don’t have to go shopping on the weeks when I need to spend bucks elsewhere.  This was one of those weeks.  I got a few deals at Rite Aid, but nothing worth doing a “Guess What I Spent & Saved” Saturday on.

Do you have any shopping pictures you’d like to have featured? I have some great free coupons I’d love to give out today, so if you went shopping this week and took a picture, or even if you are going later today, email them along with what you spent and saved to me at: Deidre @ cuckooforcoupondeals DOT com (replace DOT with a .  – this is for spambot purposes – never type in your email address online or in a comment because spambots pick them up and email you garbage).  Then I’ll post it up to see if anyone can guess and win those coupons!

You can always show off your pictures on my Facebook Page, just click on Photos and it will allow you to upload your pictures and type in a message about them.   This is a fun way to show off your shopping trips if you don’t have time etc… to run your own deal blog 🙂

P.S. Remember my giveaway I am doing for the $50 Safeway gift card My husband has the most sent & accepted so far, but of course he doesn’t count.  So Morgan Rayl is winning so far with 20 Invitations Sent and 2 Accepted. So you aren’t too late – you could easily win the $50 Safeway Gift Card! Just go here and invite your friends to become a fan of Cuckoo For Coupon Deals on Facebook using the new Suggest This tab!

I was contacted by Cali Kellywood who runs Utah Kids Club and she told me that she’d like to extend the One Month of Utah Kids Club Free to Cuckoo for Coupon Deals readers! Go to here and read about it, and sign up.

There’s no credit card required, this is just tons of free and B1G1 freebies for your family! Make sure to check it out!
