How to useSavingStar is a eCoupon site.  They have manufacturer’s coupons. SavingStar offers are redeemable at more stores than ever!

1. Click the eCoupons you want to load them to your store loyalty card (See How to use Savingstar for a step by step guide)

2. Shop – use your loyalty card at checkout.  However, no coupons will come off your total.

3.  Your SavingStar account will grow with the coupons you used, and you will get to redeem them once you have saved over $5 in the form of Amazon.com gift cards, Paypal, or other payment forms!

Everything you want to know about Savingstar

What is SavingStar?

SavingStar is the smart and simple way to save on your groceries and online shopping. Grocery offers are fully digital with nothing to clip or print. SavingStar has over 7 million members and was founded in 2011.

How do I use SavingStar eCoupons?

SavingStar is a paperless way of saving with eCoupons that link to your existing grocery and drug store loyalty cards. Here’s how it works: after a one-time registration of your store cards, saving is quick and easy. Simply click the eCoupons you want on savingstar.com or our iPhone® or Android® apps and we’ll link your eCoupons to all of your registered store cards. When you use your card at checkout like you normally do, your savings are automatically added to your SavingStar account. (Note: your grocery bill will stay the same.) Once your savings reach $5, you can pick your payout from a deposit into your bank or PayPal account, an Amazon gift card, or a donation to American Forests.

What options are available as payouts from my SavingStar account and how do I get them?

When you accumulate $5 worth of savings you will be able to pick what type of payout you want. You can cash out to a bank account, PayPal account, Upromise account, Starbucks gift code, iTunes gift code, or AMC Theatres gift code. Payouts occur within 24-48 hours of being requested. Gift codes will be emailed to your SavingStar account email address. You can also donate your earnings to American Forests.

Does SavingStar offer iPhone® or Android® apps?

Yes! If you haven’t already done so, click here for iPhone® and here for Android® to download the apps. These apps allow you to choose eCoupons while on the go – including while you are shopping – and also help you remember which items to purchase to redeem your eCoupons.

Which stores participate in SavingStar?

Over 60,000 stores participate in SavingStar, representing over 100 retail chains. Click here to see a list of retailers. If your favorite store is not listed as a participating retailer, please let them know that you would like them to join SavingStar!

When do I need to activate a SavingStar offer?

In order to be guaranteed credit for a SavingStar offer or One or Many offer, they must be activated in your account before you make any purchases. For Receipt-Scan Stores, you may also activate the offer within the same day of that you make the purchase.

We recommend activating any offers in which you are interested as soon as possible. The brands who sponsor our offers sometimes limit number of activations per offer. Because of this, some popular offers may sell out quickly, and activating an offer will be sure that it’s available for you until it expires

How quickly do my savings post to my SavingStar account?

All savings will be posted to your SavingStar account within 2-22 days, allowing you to track exactly how much you’ve saved over time. We’ll also send you an email to alert you when your savings post.

How often are new offers available?

Every first of the month they have new offers, and they typically have new offers on Thursdays and Sundays, although new deals may become available at any time. They also post a new Healthy Offer of the Week each Tuesday.

My store is participating, but it doesn’t have a store loyalty card. How do I save at my store?

See my post on How to Use Savingstar

I’m a member of Upromise and see that its Grocery offers are powered by SavingStar. Can I participate in both Upromise and SavingStar?

Yes. SavingStar provides the grocery offers for the Upromise service. You may register for both the Upromise and SavingStar, including registering your same store loyalty cards in each service. However, you may only activate a particular offer in one service during a single promotion period. In the future, you’ll see SavingStar powering other rewards services as well.

Part of the ABC’s of Couponing Guide

All About

What is an eCoupon, Loadable or Clipless coupon?

An eCoupon is an electronic coupon you get online in a similar manner to a printable coupon.  Instead of printing the coupon, you load it onto your store loyalty card.  When you scan your loyalty card at the cash register, or give your phone number, you will automatically receive the savings if you’ve made a qualifying purchase!

There are a lot of ecoupon sites; some take savings right off your receipt and you pay less out of pocket.  Others have you take the savings and put them in savings accounts.  Read about each of my favorite ecoupon sites below and how they work.

Walgreen’s Paperless Coupons: Log in and load these to your Walgreen’s card.   These are manufacturer coupons most of the time, but they do slip in a store coupon at times.  They will show you all particpating products and details if you cick on View Details. These come right off at the register and you will pay less out of pocket.

Rite Aid Load2Card Coupons: Log in and clip the offers you want loaded to your Wellness+ (Plenti) Card. These are one time use manufacturer coupons and no printing is required.  These come in handy when you buy multiple products. If you have only one insert coupon and you find a Load2card coupon you can buy two of the products.   These come right off at the register and you will pay less out of pocket.

Sam’s Club has eCoupons – If you are a Sam’s Club Plus Member you will definately want to login and load your Sam’s Club eCoupons to your card!  There are over $300 in savings on  Sam’s Club eCoupons site per year!  These come right off at the register!

There are a lot of ecoupon sites; some take savings right off your receipt and you pay less out of pocket. Some sites will give savings like Home Depot coupons and from other top retailers based on a point system.

SavingStar: These are manufacturer’s coupons. Available at CVS, Kmart, Walgreens, Walmart, Rite-Aid, Albertsons, Dillon’s, Kroger, Ralph’s, and many more.  I have a full tutorial on how to use Savingstar

  1. Click the eCoupons you want to load them to your store loyalty card
  2. Shop – use your loyalty card at checkout.  However, no coupons will come off your total.
  3. Your SavingStar account will grow with the coupons you used, and you will get to redeem them once you have saved over $5 in the form of Amazon.com gift cards, Paypal, or other payment forms!  Read my How to Use Saving Star Guide!

These offers are added to the Cuckoo Deals Coupon Database as well to make matching them with store deals even easier!

HURRY!   These do run out of supply.

  • Just go here and choose your store – Smiths, Kroger, and more affiliated stores!
  • Click on “Deal of the Day” – very important.  You must click on it, not on anything else!
  • Sign into your account
  • Your eCoupon will be revealed
  • Load today’s eCoupon to your card
  • Check back tomorrow for the next great coupon!  There’s a new one each day.

This one is for $2/1 VIVA Towels Regular Roll, 6 roll pack – expires Aug. 31.

There’s a new $.40/1 Wacky Mac pasta printable coupon!  This is $.80 off if your store doubles coupons.

UTAH -double that at Walmart today: Wacky Pasta is $1.42 at the Springville Walmart (personally checked by me!), so when you double this $.40 coupon to $1 off, that makes it only $.42!  View more deals for Double Coupon Walmart day that I posted earlier.

There is also a $.40/1 Wacky Mac Veggie Pasta eSavings Coupon on Upromise.  This can stack with the $.40/1 Wacky Mac Printable making your savings$1.20, keep in mind Upromise savings are for college and not taken off at the register. Upromise coupons can stack – it is Cellfire eCoupons which can not.

Smith’s just emailed me their new coupon policy – view it here .

Most important notes:

  • An Electronic Digital Coupon and a paper Manufacturer Coupon cannot beused on the same item.
  • A Store Coupon and a paper Manufacturer Coupon may be used on the sameitem.
  • An Electronic Digital Coupon and Store Coupon may be used on the same item.

This makes it very clear electronic coupons are manufacturer’s coupons, which is why they can be stacked with store coupons and not manufacturer’s coupons.
