UPDATE: Giveaway has ended, view winners here.

I received the Greek Goddess gift pack above to try by Yoplait through MyBlogSpark.  I loved the towel. It is pretty plush, plus it has Velcro on the ends, so you can wrap it around yourself and velcro it shut; no more holding your towel up or messing with tucking it in while you get ready for the day!  My 3 year old calls it a ‘cape’ and loves to try off in it.  The back massager has been lots of fun for the kids to give each other back rubs with, and for mom and dad too.

The Greek yogurt has a very different taste to it – if a sale came, I would recommend buying 1 and trying it before you stocked up on it!

The Greek Yogurt comes with 12 grams of protein (twice that of other yogurts!!!) and in these flavors:

  1. Strawberry,
  2. Blueberry,
  3. Honey Vanilla,
  4. Plain

Here’s a coupon for you to try it for yourself: $0.45/1 Yoplait Greek Yogurt coupon

Giveaway: 1 winner will win the gift pack shown above courtesy of Yoplait through MyBlogSpark!

I had another product planned to giveaway today.  A biggie. But I hated it once I reviewed it.  I mean really, really hated it.  So I had to email the company and let them know that I couldn’t host a giveaway because their product simply didn’t do what they said it would do. Before I review a product, I let all the companies I do reviews for know that if I don’t like the product, I will email them with constructive criticism and cancel the giveaway.

But this is the first time it has ever happened.  So far, I have enjoyed all the products I’ve reviewed.   Maybe I will have to be more careful now with the companies I choose to work with.  I am not sure if this has ever happened to another blogger.  I searched the internet, but found nothing.  At first I didn’t know what to do.  The lady I had been corresponding with from the company was quite pleasant and I didn’t want to hurt her feelings; she had told me previously that she was anxious to read my review.  I know business is business and she probably didn’t care, in fact maybe she was grateful I wouldn’t post a negative review, but I am always worried about what other people are feeling.  And it may sound silly to you, but I was worried they would make me ship the product back to them and I didn’t want to pay shipping and make a trip to the post office.  But luckily they never mentioned returning it, so that saved me some headache.

Now you know there are some awkward, not-so-glamorous tasks associated with being a product reviewer.  Which, by the way, was never something I intended to be when I started my blog.  I just fell into it when companies started contacted me. I have come to enjoy trying new products and writing about them, then hosting giveaways.  I get so excited when the winners email me back and I can tell by their words (and multiple “thanks!!!!”) that they are truly excited to have won.

Anyways, I wish there were more giveaways today for my Wednesday giveaways, but things don’t always work out perfectly do they?

Flower Duet Training DVD:

Ya know that part in The Matrix where Neo plugs in and learns Kung Fu?  Well this took a little longer, but I feel like I just became a pro at flower arranging after watching this 30 minute DVD!  Here is my before picture:

I got this kinda sad looking bunch of flowers from Smiths.
After watching the video and following the instructions, I created this:

Pretty right?  I have absolutely NO flower skill!  I know it’s not the most perfect looking thing, but for me..it’s impressive 🙂
I recommend this video for people like me with no skills.
In 30 minutes I learned how to pick flowers, clean and condition them, and arrange.  There is also a section on bridal bouquets, which I skipped because I don’t care about that. But I’m sure it was good! 🙂

Bummas Cloth Wipes:

So what exactly are Bummas?

They’re small, soft, eco-friendly baby-sized cloths made especially for drying baby bottoms, as well as blocking those surprise squirts! You can virtually eliminate irritating diaper rash without the use of powders, talcs and ointments by simply drying your baby’s bum with a Bumma!

I also tried out Bummas.  They are very soft and absorbent.  I only wish I got them sooner when my newborn son was more of a fire hose (you know what I mean).  He’s 7 month’s now, starting on food, so of course diaper rash becomes an issue.  I really like the Bummas because it eliminates the need for powder or blowing the bum dry.   You can also use them as wipes by just adding some water and then you just throw them in the wash.  (I didn’t try this with messy diapers)  My only complaint is that I didn’t have enough of them.  Maybe I should do my laundry more often.  No…..that’s not the answer. 🙂

Giveaway: 1 winner will get the Flower Duet DVD (view a small clip here) and 1 winner will get 10 Bummas Cloth Wipes (the Wild Ones set here)

I almost went to Dairy Queen yesterday because I got an email from them about their Buy 1 Get 1 for $.25 blizzard deal, and I wanted to go get one as a surprise for my husband (who would have really thought I was the best wife ever, he is a huge Blizzard fan).  I went to go, and then wondered if I was supposed to print a coupon on the page to get the deal.  I went back to my email and luckily I read the fine print (a habit that comes from couponing) and the deal hadn’t even started yet. Well tomorrow for FHE I just might be there. April 19-25 are the days it is valid.

I don’t want to sound like your mom telling you what to do, so this if for those of you new to my site: You need to sign up for the Home Depot savings newsletter.  Make sure to click on the box “Join the Garden Club.”

They email out coupons that have your name on them and can only be used by you. I opened my email newsletter today, and there was a coupon for Buy 1, Get 1 Free for any tree, expires April 26th. Nice trees can be expensive, so this is a very high-value coupon. I am hoping to get some fruit trees.

There’s a million swimsuit companies.

Here’s what’s unique about Essential Swimwear:

  • Their swimsuit tops are all very modest and very long.
  • You can mix-and-match any top to any bottom.
  • You can get a small top and a large bottom or any other variety of sizes.  It’s not one-size-fits all!
  • They have  a very easy size chart for you to measure yourself, so you get the right size of top and bottom to order.

I can’t wear one piece swimsuits because my top is not the same size as my bottom. Ok I said it!  And most 2 pieces are immodest and you are pulling at the top all the time to have it cover your stomach.  That’s why I am lovin’ essential swimwear because they have both of these problems covered!

I got the blue top shown above, then instead of the blue bottoms I choose the skirt bottom (shown below) because it hides more, if you know what I’m sayin’…

UPDATE: Giveaway has ended.

My daughter’s had a little tea party with their dolls, while taste-testing Peeled Snacks.

What we though:

  • We all loved them.
  • Although they are dried snacks, they are not hard. They are soft, chewy, and moist.  Other dried bananas I’ve tried are hard and crunchy, with little flavor.  These somehow retained the flavor and weren’t crispy.
  • I like the convenient packages to travel on-the-go or for church
  • I love that they are 100% fruit (no sugar added)
  • I think their price is  a quite high.  If you order online, make sure to sign up for their newsletter (at the very bottom left-hand-side of their page) because you’ll get free shipping, which helps with cost. OR you can get these at Whole Foods and Starbucks.

Cherries were our favorite.  Whoever wins, I’d love it if you email me to let me know what your favorite is!

I add new codes to this list weekly.

Pampers Gifts To Grow is a program where you enter codes found inside packs of diapers, training pants, and wipes and save the points up until you get cool prizes – like free diapers and wipes.  Those codes are one-time use.  But Pampers also releases codes that everyone can use, and I keep a list of those here.

Sign up for Pampers Gifts to Grow if you aren’t a member yet.

List of old pampers gifts to grow codes, let me know which ones have expired: I have removed all the expired codes thanks to Renae & Dana!
