One of my favorite things about being a “couponer” is I don’t have to go shopping on the weeks when I need to spend bucks elsewhere. This was one of those weeks. I got a few deals at Rite Aid, but nothing worth doing a “Guess What I Spent & Saved” Saturday on.
Do you have any shopping pictures you’d like to have featured? I have some great free coupons I’d love to give out today, so if you went shopping this week and took a picture, or even if you are going later today, email them along with what you spent and saved to me at: Deidre @ cuckooforcoupondeals DOT com (replace DOT with a . – this is for spambot purposes – never type in your email address online or in a comment because spambots pick them up and email you garbage). Then I’ll post it up to see if anyone can guess and win those coupons!
You can always show off your pictures on my Facebook Page, just click on Photos and it will allow you to upload your pictures and type in a message about them. This is a fun way to show off your shopping trips if you don’t have time etc… to run your own deal blog 🙂
P.S. Remember my giveaway I am doing for the $50 Safeway gift card My husband has the most sent & accepted so far, but of course he doesn’t count. So Morgan Rayl is winning so far with 20 Invitations Sent and 2 Accepted. So you aren’t too late – you could easily win the $50 Safeway Gift Card! Just go here and invite your friends to become a fan of Cuckoo For Coupon Deals on Facebook using the new Suggest This tab!
Giveaway & Review: “What’s in the Bible” 2 Children’s DVDs
[youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G-Mnq_sqMus]
UPDATE: Giveaway has ended. Random.org picked #10, Ann “I am a fan on facebook.”
This Children’s DVD uses puppets to explain: the overall concept of the Bible, from who wrote it, why, how it all came together in one piece. Then it uses cartoons to explain: the individual stories in the bible.
I liked the cartoon parts of the DVD better then the puppets part. I think What’s In The Bible is more for children at least 5 years old. It moves too quickly and is too packed with information for any younger child.
There were 2 specific statements made that I disagreed with; you can email me if you want to know specifics. I did think it did a good job of explaining about the creation when Moses wrote “Day” it could have meant God’s day, which could be thousands or millions of years in Earth days. It also explained selfishness very well.
