I used a $.55 coupon for my crutons and $1.25/3 for the jello.

Everything else I paid regular walmart prices.  Even us coupon mommas have to buy things regular price sometimes!

Total before price match/coupons: $73.35

I Paid (including tax):  $47.66

Note to self: always bring in competitor’s ad when price matching.  I saved $5 price matching my printer ink with a local ad, BUT I spent what felt like 10 minutes getting it done, since the cashier wanted to see the ad. Their official policy is that you don’t have to bring in the ad, but their cashiers always want to see it. Super big thanks to the lady behind me who vouched for me, I owe ya!

If you want a Wii, you’ll want to get to Walmart this Saturday. They are offering a $50.00 gift card with your purchase, which makes the system only $149.99 after you net that out.

Some may say this isn’t a great deal, but that basically means – buy the system – get a game for FREE!!

This offer begins Saturday, December 5th at 8:00 a.m. and runs through December 12th (or until supplies run out). There are suppose to be a minimum of 10 systems per store, so I imagine they’ll go fast!

You also can not get this deal if you shop on line – you have to get up and physically head in to do your shopping.

Update: New vendor is selling this too – Dual Action Lightsaber

Star Wars Duel Action Lightsabers are on roll-back at Walmart for $23.74, and you can use the $5 off any star wars toy lightsaber purchase from to get it for $18.74.  Walmart doesn’t list the original price of this on their website, but and both show the exact same toy for $34.99, so compared to that this is a cuckoo deal!

It has a single-bladed play mode and another lightsaber that can join to it to make it dual bladed.

Sometimes newbies to couponing get confused by learning all the new rules to rebates, single check rebates, register rewards, and catalinas. They also don’t want to drive to five different stores each week to get the deals. If this is you, price matching at Walmart may be your most efficient option. Follow me on a shopping trip where I show you what you can and can’t do.

Go here for a list of 57 items free or near a dollar at Walmart, including links to print all printable coupons you will need for your shopping trip.

turkeyI just got the new circular ads for next week, (Wed-Tues. grocery store ads), and so far Walmart $.40 lb Turkey is looking the cheapest! Buy Low Market in Orem comes in second with $.59 lb turkey, while supplies last. If you want to get yours at Buy Low, I’d go tomorrow when the sale starts!

$2/1 off a whole Butterball Turkey Coupon on Smartsource. These are $.98 lb at Walmart. The $.40 lb turkeys at Walmart are a different brand!  So you can do one or the other there.

Macey’s: If you have been accumulating Turkey Vouchers, you can use these on their $1.38 spiral ham, which is what I did today since they have the best price on it, or on Prime Rib.  Other AFS may let you do this as well if you want to use up those vouchers but want to get your turkey somewhere else.
